    Position Overview

    We re seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a compassionate and professional healthcare team in Tulsa, OK. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity offering stability, growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care every day.

    The LPN will provide direct and indirect nursing care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and physician, following established care plans and clinical protocols.

    Key Responsibilities

    Administer nursing care in accordance with physician orders and established Nursing Care Plans.

    Assist the Registered Nurse in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.

    Collect and document patient data, including vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.

    Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.

    Ensure patient safety and maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.

    Perform a variety of nursing duties to support overall patient well-being and efficient unit operations.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education: Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent coursework approved by a State Board of Nursing.

    Licensure: Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Oklahoma or a valid multi-state LPN license.

    Experience: Previous LPN experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred but not required.

    Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.

    The ideal candidate will have a team-based approach and a solution-oriented mindset, providing a full scope of midwifery duties suitable for a rural setting. The CNM will work closely with three OBGYNs, two midwives, and one women's health nurse practitioner, fostering a supportive environment.

    In addition to women's health and family planning services, our midwives provide 24-hour on-call coverage for midwifery caseload patients. Deliveries occur in our beautiful birth center on the same floor as our clinic. We emphasize supporting physiologic birth and patient choice to achieve excellent outcomes. Nursing staff provide 1:1 support for women who have water labor and birth, nitrous oxide, intrathecal, or VBAC options.
