    General Purpose:

    The Executive Director of Judson Park is responsible for leading the overall operations of the campus including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Health Center and those services that support these programs either directly through a Judson service or through a contract agreement with a third-party provider. The ED is responsible for ensuring cost-efficient, high-quality programs that meet residents’ needs, meet Federal and State licensure certification and accreditation requirements. The ED is also part of the Judson Corporate Team, a strategic planning group identifying challenges and opportunities for mission advancement.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Responsible for the overall quality of all Judson Park programs and services.

    · Responsible for developing and managing the board approved operational and capital budget for Judson Park.

    · Directly oversees the management of Director of Dining Services, Director of Security and Transportation, Director of Environmental Services, Director of Maintenance, Office Manager, purchasing and receptionist.

    · Work in collaboration with support staff to ensure members’ needs are being met through internal and/or external support systems.

    · Responsible for ensuring that the physical condition of the building is maintained according to company operating, safety, building and Ohio Department of Health standards for AL/IL/SNF.

    · Coordinate with team members and contractors regarding resident (member) move-ins, relocations and unit customizations.

    · Attend Medical Advisory, Admissions, IT and other committees as assigned.

    · Responsible for occupancy goals being met in collaboration with VP of Sales and Sales associates.

    · Participates with corporate management team in monitoring and identifying internal and external trends and using the information to forecast opportunities and challenges for promoting the current and future health of the organization.

    · Manage annual capital projects in conjunction with contractors and VP of Project Management as needed.

    · Manage major renovation projects from post occupancy meetings, design and development, construction to punch list while being sensitive to residents occupying the building and assuring their needs are being met during the disruptive time of construction.

    · Responsible for providing good communication with members, their family and friends, and associates.

    · Works with President and VP of Judson Foundation on soliciting participation in Judson major gift campaigns.

    · Oversee compliance of standards for licensure, certification and accreditation.

    · Attend Judson Services Board meetings and other committee meetings as assigned.

    · Work with Human Resources and department managers to maintain a pleasant working environment and

    that promotes good customer service skills while promoting personalized service.

    · Participate in appropriate local and state professional programs related to organization (i.e., Leading Age,

    Leading Age Ohio, and Alzheimer’s Association).

    · Represents Judson at other internal or external meetings as assigned by Judson’s CEO/COO.

    Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:

    Required Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and/or LNHA licensure preferred.

    · Knowledge of Ohio Department of Health Guidelines.

    · Minimum of 10 years of management experience, including budget preparations, supervision, and marketing/sales experience.

    · Ability to understand member expectations within a high customer service-focused community.

    · Excellent communication, organizational, customer service, and time management skills.

    · Computer literacy required, including strong skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and building management software.

    · Ability to routinely travel locally and periodically work a non-traditional schedule/outside regular business hours if needed.


    Physical Requirements: Communication skills including articulation and enunciation to be heard and understood. Physical demands may include standing or sitting for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs., climbing stairs, bending, stooping, and repetitive motion.

    Working Conditions: Must be able to travel through and be visible throughout South Franklin Circle’s campus. Flexibility in work hours may be necessary.

    General Purpose:


    Reporting directly to the VP Health Services, the Clinical Staff Development Coordinator is a respected leader, mentor and teacher responsible for the training and development of all associates. The overall goal focused on creating or developing training programs that will enhance the associates’ skills relevant to their position or continuing growth opportunities that align with Judson’s goals, values and operations.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    Plan, develop, evaluate and instruct programs designed to enhance the skills of all associates relevant to their positions and the company.Confers with management to survey existing training programs and identify organization wide educational opportunities and needs.Identify and assess facility education needs through various methods including, exit interviews data and evaluation of both financial and personal performance. Confers with management regarding content and create the programs that address, complement, and achieve those needs.Maintain, coordinate and oversee preceptor programs for new associates.Conduct or arrange for on-going training and personal development classes for associates.Plan, develop and provide training, (formal, informal, creative) using variety of preferred audience methods including, classroom training, demonstrations, conferences, workshops, online, etc.Conducts and coordinates new hire “onboarding” sessions (i.e. orientation, competencies)Acts as a liaison for mentor program between leader and new associate ensuring program efficiency.Assumes a lead in clinical orientation and collaborates with the clinical team to address unmet needs.Demonstrates proficiency in the electronic medical record to support training and implementation of new components of the electronic medical recordDemonstrates knowledge of the regulatory requirements of skilled nursing facilities and residential facilities.


    Other Related Duties

    Performs data analysis on feedback reports from training workshops and recommends developmental needs for future training workshops. Corporate Compliance: The extent to which the employee adheres to and promotes compliance with requirements of the Judson’s annual compliance programs.Participate in the Associate Engagement Process that promotes turnover reduction with engagement interviews scheduled for key dates in the employment process.

    Judson Park/Judson Manor Part Time Fitness Specialist is responsible for classes and other Wellness-related activities at Judson Manor. Serves as the key liaison for Wellness activities. Provides direct service physical activity programs promoting functional independence and quality of life for individuals of different levels of fitness. The individuals may be residents, Judson-at-Home members, associates, or community members. The programming will include individual and group services providing a variety of modalities such as group exercise classes, individual one-on-one programs, Wellness Center monitoring, group, and special maintenance services based on a referral from any of the skilled services (rehab services). Maintains a safe, warm and welcoming environment for residents, Judson-at-Home members, community members, and guests.


    Responsible for all Fitness Specialist duties and additional responsibilities as listed below:

    This position requires days. Scheduled work time is allocated in the following manner: Attend new employee orientation and departmental orientation prior to or within one month of employment to gain an understanding of the organization: The Mission, Goals, Health and Wellness Philosophy.Support the components of the Health and Wellness philosophy by taking an active role in programs and activities that contribute to the physical, social, emotional, spiritual, vocational and intellectual development of residents and community participants. This could include assisting other Resident Life/Wellness staff with tasks and activities that lead to resident participation and assisting residents with self-initiated programs. Implement/initiate/teach a variety of physical activity programs that offer residents, from all levels of care, and community members, the opportunity to participate in daily physical activity that meets the minimum daily requirement of 30-minutes a day. All programs will be designed to address functional independence. The programs may include, depending upon the individual’s expertise, land and water classes (Arthritis H2O, Free Weights, Weight Machines, Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, Balance Ball). Certification and/or experience in teaching Aquatic Exercise, a plus. Maintain individual attendance and program forms, progress documentation, records and reports on a daily, monthly or quarterly basis as required by the Department.Assist Director of Wellness with some office duties, such as editing wellness brochure and schedules, communicating with Activities staff on changes in Wellness schedules, ordering supplies for the department at the request of the Wellness Director. Communicate with Director of Wellness regarding any maintenance/equipment needs, and any other occurrences that warrant Director’s attention.     Part time 16 to 20 hours will be divided between Judson Manor and Judson Park Monday-Friday. This position requires possible evening and weekend work.

This position requires a current driver’s license and an insured vehicle for staffing programs that occur in Satellite locations. Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and time management skills with a strong background in successfully delivering exceptional customer service and strong attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, time management skills to ensure completion of duties and be a forward looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.Ability to routinely travel locally and periodically work a non-traditional schedule outside regular business hours if needed
