    Summary: A successful CNC Operator - Lathe can safely and efficiently manufacture parts that meet all quality and safety requirements. This is an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the group leader.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Safely and efficiently produce product that meets all quality parameters.
    Meet production requirements.
    You will be required to provide your own tools.
    Proven understanding of all machining principles.
    Understand the correlation between lead error and helix angles, and be able to adjust the machine accordingly.
    Ability to track and document die usage and evaluate die condition.
    Basic understanding of thread lead and helix angles.
    Possess effective measuring equipment utilization skills.
    Basic ability to monitor and measure products to ensure tolerance/specs adherence.
    Ability to troubleshoot machines as needed.
    Ability to keep scrap and rework at minimal levels as defined.
