Production Clerk
Position: Material Handler
Location: Joyalways/129 S. Technology Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 1st shift
Compensation: $18 - $21 per hour
Position Overview
The Production Clerk plays a key role in supporting daily manufacturing operations by maintaining accurate production records, coordinating documentation, and ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO standards. This role is essential to keeping production running smoothly, efficiently, and in full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Record and verify production data including batch numbers, lot codes, downtime, scrap, and output.Maintain accurate logs, checklists, and documentation required for GMP and FDA compliance.Prepare and organize production paperwork for each shift, including work orders and material requisitions.Track raw material usage and communicate shortages to Supply Chain or Supervisors.Support inventory counts and reconciliation of materials used on each line.File and maintain production records in accordance with ISO and internal document control procedures.Assist Supervisors with preparing reports, KPIs, and shift summaries.Communicate with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow.Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.Participate in audits, investigations, or corrective actions as needed.Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing, production support, or clerical/administrative roles preferred.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.Familiarity with GMP, FDA, or ISO documentation standards (preferred but not required).Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry systems.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of production data.Physical Requirements
Ability to walk production floors regularly throughout the shift.Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally (e.g., paperwork boxes, sample cases).Work in a manufacturing environment with PPE requirements (hairnet, safety glasses, etc.).Work Environment
High-speed wet wipe converting and packaging environment.Collaboration with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams.Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and temperature variations.Additional Responsibilities:

About the Role
We’re hiring a Maintenance Electrician to support our new baby‑wipe manufacturing plant. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and perfect for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, equipment installation, and keeping production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on high‑speed converting and packaging equipmentTroubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motors, and drivesPerform preventive and predictive maintenanceSupport equipment startup and commissioningWork safely following OSHA, NFPA 70E, and GMP standardsQualifications
5+ years as an Industrial ElectricianStrong electrical and automation troubleshooting skillsExperience in manufacturing (wipes, paper, food, or similar is a plus)Ability to read electrical schematics and work independentlyComfortable in a startup environment with evolving processesMust have Electrical licenseKnowledge of safety regulations related to industrial maintenance including high voltage protocols and OSHA standardsPhysical Requirements
