As the Program and Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing public-facing programs and events that serve individuals with disabilities and the partner organizations that support them. Your role is essential in ensuring these initiatives run smoothly, creating meaningful experiences for participants while strengthening community engagement.
You excel in organization, time management, and logistics, ensuring every detail of an event or program is thoughtfully planned and executed. You are a natural relationship builder, able to collaborate with partner organizations, volunteers, and stakeholders to maximize program impact. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks, adapt to challenges, and think creatively will help bring Jonathans Landing Foundations mission to life.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Program Coordination
Oversee all public-facing programs for individuals with disabilities and partner organizations, ensuring that programs align with the foundations mission, goals, and community needs.
Act as the primary liaison between Jonathans Landing Foundation and partner organizations, ensuring smooth communication and program success.
Track program impact, gather feedback, and report on effectiveness.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, ensuring alignment and clarity on project goals and objectives.
Manage project timelines and task tracking to highlight dependencies and risks, driving clarity around timeline, tasks, and delivery.
Event Coordination
Plan and execute community events, workshops, and activities for program participants.
Coordinate and manage logistics for program events, workshops, and activities (venue, catering, registration, accessibility accommodations, and more).
Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and volunteers to ensure seamless event execution.
Develop event materials, schedules, and communications.
Volunteer Management
Develop volunteer schedules and assignments and ensure adequate coverage for all events and programs.
Provide ongoing support, guidance, and recognition to volunteers, fostering a positive and engaging volunteer experience.
Maintain volunteer database, track volunteer hours, and provide regular reports to management.

Serve as primary contact for volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization.
2+ years of demonstrated experience in program coordination and/or event planning, including logistics, scheduling, and execution.
Proficiency in event management tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite or similar platforms), as well as demonstrated ability to create agendas, handouts, program overviews, or similar materials.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and programs.
