    ….on a typical day, you will:

    Offer each of our four-legged customers a belly rub and treats (sorry, this is a requirement!)Get to know your local community: their names, their needs, and moreTrain on new products or information about pet nutritionReceive, stock, and rotate healthy pet productsHelp train and teach new staff.Work as a team with coworkers to achieve sales goals and milestonesDo what’s best for our guests and their pets

    Other responsibilities include:

    Creating an atmosphere of service, trust, and one that is supportive of the owners and their vision for the company.Cultivate a positive and supportive store environment where employees are excited to come to work.Assuring that customer service and satisfaction exceeds our clients' expectations.Assisting the Store Manager with daily store operations in accordance with Company standards.Communicating with staff and home office.Assisting the Store Manager in maintaining an accurate inventoryAssisting the Store Manager with on-the-job training of staff in customer delight, product knowledge, and operations.Maintaining store appearance, and a professional personal appearance.Product merchandising as directed by the Merchandising Manager.

    This position requires you to be on your feet for the majority of your shift. You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to stock the store and to do carry outs for customers.


    Qualifications

    At least 6 months to 1 year in a supervisory role.

    Store Appearance: Ensures store’s always aesthetically in compliance with Tomlinson’s Brand Standards

    Maintains an aesthetically appealing store by keeping it well lit, well stocked, clean and clutter-free, and by making sure it is a warm and welcoming place to shop.Maintains an inspection-ready store at all times, but especially on given inspection dates.

    Communications: In constant communication with Store leadership regarding store operations & needs.

    Tomlinson’s Delivery Associates earn a starting hourly rate of $15 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement of 72.5 cents per mile driven. With mileage reimbursement, our average Delivery Associate earns between $20 - $25/hour.


    Tomlinson’s Delivery Associates are W2 positions, not contract gigs. That means drivers working 40 hours or more per week are entitled to (and deserve!) health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and an employer-matched 401(k).


    Here's what you'll do on a typical day....


    Load, transport, and deliver items to guests or businesses in a timely manner.Review orders before delivery to ensure they are complete and accurate. Load and unload items into vehicle in a safe and appropriate manner so that product will not be damaged during the delivery process.Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handle complaints from guests.Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.Work with dispatching team to resolve problems including order accuracy, and guest communication if needed (wrong address, gate code, etc.)Train new drivers as needed (demo loading procedures, using OnFleet, ride-along, etc.)Complete training courses to build product knowledge and stay up to date on new promos, products, and procedures.Assist in-store between delivery runs.


    Requirements:

    Delivery experience is a plus, but not required. However, a positive attitude and eagerness to help others is required. Tomlinson’s delivery drivers must be at least 18 years of age and have:

    A clean driving recordAccess to an insured vehicle which can be used for deliveryUp to date car registrationA smartphone with the ability to use our delivery app to navigate.The Ability to lift up to 50 pounds: You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to pick and deliver orders.     Store Appearance: Ensures store’s always aesthetically in compliance with Tomlinson’s Brand Standards

    Maintains an aesthetically appealing store by keeping it well lit, well stocked, clean and clutter-free, and by making sure it is a warm and welcoming place to shop.Maintains an inspection-ready store at all times, but especially on given inspection dates.

    Communications: In constant communication with Store leadership regarding store operations & needs.

    Attends all required store meetings and trainings.

    This role also assists with deliveries as needed (company vehicle provided).

    Requirements:Lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in order to stock the store, do carry-outs for guests, and pick and deliver orders. This is an active role which requires you to be on your feet for the majority of your shift.Work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
