Johnson County Mental Health is looking for qualified candidates to fill a Children's Case Manager position at our Olathe Mental Health office. Case Managers work as part of a treatment team in the Pediatric Services program, providing services to support children, ages 4-18, with Severe Emotional Disabilities (SED). Evening availability is required and the schedule will vary based on the needs of the children served. Posting will remain open until filled. Job Description * Conducts assessments of individuals' background and applicable circumstances to identify needs and/or determine service eligibility; interprets and communicates relevant information to individuals, families, and other stakeholders. * Develops plans to address the needs of individuals in single or multiple areas of focus; networks with other community agencies to research and coordinate a variety of resources and services to address short term intensive or long term individual needs; encourages the establishment and maintenance of support systems; consults and collaborates with other providers in the development, implementation and review of plans. * Provides a variety of services for a designated case load of individuals with multi-faceted and/or ongoing needs; ensures services provided are consistent with individual plans; initiates and attends individual and/or group meetings and provides services in a community based setting; provides transportation of individuals according to the needs identified in plans; organizes and facilitates skill development and support groups. * Completes and submits documentation regarding services provided; evaluates and documents individuals' progress according to measurable goals; reviews quality and effectiveness of services provided. Job Description The Fleet Division within the Facilities Management Department is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of County vehicles and equipment. This position plays a key role in ensuring reliable operations and timely service across County departments. The position will remain open until filled. Responsibilities Include: Inspects, diagnoses, repairs and documents repair procedures on autos and trucks, construction equipment, sanders, plows, chainsaws, trimmers, pumps, small engines, skid loaders, electronic sander controls, and conveyors; performs service calls county-wide on trucks and other equipment to return to service or transport back to the shop for additional repairs. Completes preventive maintenance and safety inspections on county vehicles and equipment to ensure trouble free and safe operation; inspects brakes, electrical, steering and mechanical systems; services all components at timely intervals such as engine, transmissions, differentials and hydraulic systems. Initiates work orders, tracks time spent on tasks or customer; completes paperwork, timesheets and equipment logs using computerized system. The intent for the 988 phone number is to prevent suicide, divert individuals from hospitals and law enforcement contact, and support individuals in navigating resources to meet their needs. The 988 Crisis Team is a 24/7/365 team working 12 hour shifts (7a-7p and 7p-7a). This team is co-located in Johnson County's Communication Center, sharing space with Sherriff, Fire and Med-Act 911 dispatch. The 988 Crisis Team works closely with Johnson County's first responders. Additionally, this position will support JCMHC Mobile Crisis Response Team. MCRT is dedicated to resolving emergency situations by providing brief and intensive services with the goal of reducing the need for hospitalization, diverting from justice system contact, providing crisis intervention, and offering assertive outreach. JCMHC believes everyone can learn change and grow as human beings. Our role is to provide hope and promote recovery using a strength's approach. It is important for the qualified candidate to understand and reflect these values. We are always looking for great candidates. This is a PRN position that will be utilized to expand coverage for 988 and MCRT on overnights and weekends (Friday evening through Sunday evening), with the possibility of last-minute need requests. Oversees acquisition and forwarding of all necessary documentation for individuals requiring voluntary hospitalization. Conducts check-in calls as a follow-up from a previous crisis contact. MCRT Responds across Johnson County as part of a 2-person team, providing mobile crisis interventions to a variety of individuals in crisis. Consults with a clinician prior to clearing the contact, if not paired with a clinician, this will be by phone. Provides outreach and follow-up to prevent mental health crisis and/or criminal justice recidivism from various referral sources.
