    John Knox Manor II is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team! 7AM-3PM shifts available. The CNA will provide nursing care to patients and assist them in daily activities such as bathing, eating, and toileting.

    The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, punctual, and enjoys helping others. This person must be reliable, empathetic, and be able to work with all types of people.  

    Responsibilities: 

    Patient care – Instill confidence and trust in patients in a competent and caring manner. Provide hygiene and daily living assistance. This could include toileting, bathing, and assisting patients with showers. Support the patient with meals as needed. Ambulate, turn, and position patients as required.Medical needs – Check vital signs and weight. Perform sugar and acetone urine testing and specimen collection. Administer non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz, and therapeutic baths.Professional development – Maintain any specialized training and, if applicable, perform additional and specialized tasks pertinent to the assigned patient or area.  

    Requirements: 

    Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or the equivalentHigh school diploma or equivalent is requiredPrevious hospital experience with acceptable references preferredExcellent customer service skills Prolonged periods of standing and walkingMust be able to lift 75 pounds at times

This position manages the housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure that all resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces are clean, sanitary, and comfortable. The Director ensures compliance with state, federal, and infection control regulations and promotes a positive, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Plan, organize, and direct all environmental services (housekeeping and laundry) operations.

    Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping and laundry staff.

    Conduct regular inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.

    Maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies; prepare and manage the department budget.

    Develop and implement cleaning schedules, deep-cleaning routines, and infection control procedures.

    Coordinate with Maintenance and Nursing departments to address environmental concerns and infection control needs.

    Oversee laundry operations, ensuring proper handling and labeling of residents’ personal items.

    Maintain records of inspections, safety checks, and in-services.

    Promote teamwork and communication between environmental services and other facility departments.
