Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Field Service Technician to join our team in Memphis, TN. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and datacenter HVAC systems. You will also conduct factory warranty inspections on newly installed Vertiv equipment to ensure system reliability.
This is a full-time, trade-focused role. You will travel to client sites across the Mid-South (usually within a 2–3 hour drive) and use a company vehicle. Some on-call work may be required.

The Commercial HVAC Service Technician plays a critical role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial, industrial, and data center HVAC systems. Working fully independently, this technician provides reliable service and emergency repairs to ensure optimal system performance and safety compliance. The role demands strong technical expertise, effective customer communication, and adherence to safety protocols in a variety of challenging environments.
Responsibilities

Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Field Services Engineer located in the Memphis, TN area. The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for daily tasks such as providing preventative maintenance services, troubleshooting, and technical support for HVAC systems. Additional responsibilities include performing factory warranty inspections on newly installed Vertiv equipment to ensure system reliability and offering exceptional customer service to our clients. Service calls could take you to other mid-south locations, most within a 2-3 hour driving range. A company vehicle is provided.
Qualifications
Experience in Field Service, Troubleshooting, Repairs and Technical Support of HVAC systems in commercial, datacenter, healthcare or industrial environmentsAbility to perform Preventive Maintenance on air units effectivelyStrong Customer Service skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant certifications or training in HVAC systemsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to travel to client sites as requiredSome on call may be required
