    Job Details

    The Audit Manager oversees the audit process while helping clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. They provide valuable insights in managing risk and improving business performance and overall financial reporting processes. They are responsible for Associates' professional development and coaching. The Audit Manager is heavily involved in new and existing client business development and community involvement activities. They provide exceptional client service as a trusted business advisor.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    2. Perform month-end closing activities such as reconciliations and journal entries

    Qualifications

    4. Deep knowledge of best practices in accounting and financial management
    5. Familiarity with fund accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, payables coding, and foreign exchange calculations
    6. Experience with Yardi or equivalent software is a must

    Responsibilities

    As a Permanent Insurance Defense Associate, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

    1. Managing a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters
    2. Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while also managing responses to discovery requests.
    3. Conducting legal research and analysis to develop effective defense strategies.
    4. Representing clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
    5. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
    6. Maintaining regular communication with clients, providing case updates and discussing legal strategies.
    7. Staying updated on current laws, court decisions, and industry trends related to insurance defense.

    The ideal candidate for the Permanent Insurance Defense Associate position should possess the following qualifications:

    1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
    2. Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
    3. Exceptional legal writing skills with a strong attention to detail.
    4. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
