JKL Corporation is hiring for a Porter/Janitorial position in the South Bay. This is an entry-level part-time Day Porter role. You are an energetic, hardworking, and dedicated individual looking to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for growth and learning for future maintenance technicians.
Pay Range: $18.55-$22 hourly

Thoroughly clean Laundry Rooms (including cleaning washers inside and out) and gym, twice a day (morning and afternoon)Thoroughly clean Pool areas & bathroomsClean all common area windows and screens inside and out.Pick up all organic (yes, this means poop) and inorganic trash throughout the entire property. Inside and out. This includes all street gutters. (Street gutters are not done on landscaping days as the landscapers clean them up)Sidewalks need to be cleaned up of all debris. All bark must be placed back where it belongs (not picked up and thrown away)Power Washing of all sidewalks (ongoing weekly task)Remove cobwebs from all common areas, carports, buildings, and perimeter fences.Sweep & de-web all electrical & water heater roomsSort garbage that is left outside the garbage dumpsters(small items go in the dumpsters, larger items in a designated area)Clean and wash all dumpster areas (every other week)Help pull out dumpsters on garbage days (This is required on some holidays as well)Assist maintenance with cleaning, moving appliances, and any necessary support (This might be requested after hours and holidays)Equal Opportunity Employer:

The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our accounting team in Fremont. This is an in-person position. This is a vital role responsible for the full accounting cycle of our property portfolio, from daily transactions to month-end closings and payroll compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
Payroll Management: Process bi-weekly payroll, including tax filings (IRS & EDD), and manage employee sick leave/vacation tracking.
Financial Reporting: Perform month-end closings and assist senior accounting staff with financial analysis as needed.
Compliance & Audits: Facilitate annual Workers’ Compensation payroll audits and ensure all company financial files are meticulously maintained.
Banking Operations: Oversee bank deposit activities and ensure accurate cash flow tracking.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred).
Software Mastery: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is required.
Technical Skills: Strong command of Windows, Microsoft Office, and general cloud-based workflows.
Experience: Previous experience in Full Charge Bookkeeping; experience in Real Estate or Property Management is a significant plus.
Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a professional office environment.
