This job contributes to Jimmy John's success by assisting the General Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This job assists and supervises a team of store employees to create and maintain a Freaky Fast, hospital clean, environment. This job requires the ability to deploy team members and delegate tasks to complete daily systems and procedures with 100% integrity. The incumbent is responsible for acting in accordance with Jimmy John's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting General manager in staffing, training, and development of team membersConstantly review key business indicators and looks for opportunities to make positive changeEnsures a safe food environmentCommunicates clearly, concisely, and accurately to ensure effective operationsDirecting employees to complete tasks and to various work stationsExecuting store systems and procedures during shiftsFollows all operational procedures, including those for cash handlingMaintains a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume and sets the pace for the teamDelivers outstanding customer service to all customers by acting with a customer first attitudeMaintains regular and consistent attendance and punctualityAssist with new employee trainingThis Jimmy Johns is independently owned and operated under a franchise agreement with LPH Ventures, franchisor of the Jimmy Johns system.

Supervise a staff of approximately 3 to 15 employees.Delegate responsibilities for ordering, receiving, storage, and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies for the unit to ensure a minimum loss from waste and theft.Assist in the supervision of preparation, sales, and service of food.Supervise food preparation and service operations while on duty.Assist Team Members during rush periods to ensure restaurant efficiency.Complete daily food preparation including meat and vegetable slicing, portioning, and rotating products.Assist in daily and weekly paperwork.Assist in preventive maintenance and upkeep on store's equipment and supplies.Performs other related duties as required.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Environment:
