About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Auto Mechanic to join our team. This is a hands-on position in a busy shop where you’ll work on a variety of vehicles, from routine maintenance to complex repairs. We value quality work, efficiency, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computer-related issues on domestic and foreign vehicles
• Perform repairs including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and HVAC
• Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, etc.)
• Use diagnostic equipment and interpret results accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers when needed
• Keep up with training on new vehicle technologies
Requirements
• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience (preferred)
• ASE certification (or willingness to obtain) is a big plus
• Own your own set of hand tools
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Team player with good communication skills
