JEVS Human Services has an exciting opportunity to join the team at our Orleans Technical College as a Plumbing and Heating Instructor. Under the supervision of the Academic Affairs Director, the instructor will be responsible for teaching students through hands-on projects and theory in safety, math, and other basics of plumbing and heating.
Responsibilities:
· Provide instruction, as specified in the curriculum, in the basics of plumbing and heating
· Supervise students in hands-on trades tasks
· Provide evaluation of students on hands-on activities
· Provide testing of students’ knowledge of theory
· Prepare curricula materials
· Utilize varying delivery methods and media to keep students engaged with the lesson for the full class day
· Ensure that safety, classroom and school rules are followed consistently and take appropriate measures when they are not
· Ensure that classroom and shop areas are kept clean and orderly
· Maintain student attendance and grade rosters
· Ensure that a professional training environment is maintained in the classroom and shop areas at all times
· Place orders for supplies and materials according to school policy in a timely manner to ensure the smooth progression of instruction
· Perform related duties and assignments as required
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Communicate regularly with Student & Career Services teams regarding student performance as it relates to job openings and potential employers.
· Implement changes to curricula and lesson plans to incorporate approved/relevant online and digital content, new textbooks, new testing software, new instructor resources, new equipment
· Digest Program Advisory Committee (employer) input; accommodate improvements as necessary when recommended by management.
· Maintain and utilize daily lesson plans that accurately reflect course curriculum
· Continually develop and refine classroom management and effective presentation skills
· Consistently assign and assess student library projects in accordance with accreditation standards
· Ensure that safety, classroom, and school rules are followed consistently and that a professional training environment is maintained in the classroom and shop areas at all times
· Develop and adhere to a regular schedule to take and report inventory in workshop.
· Submit purchase requests according to policy and process; assist with confirming delivery and receipt of materials
· Revise Bill of Materials requirements annually
· Assist with new instructor interviews/hiring process
· Evaluate growth opportunities for Orleans Technical College by providing input to customized training opportunities; short-term training opportunities
· Suggest and participate in professional development (in person and online) opportunities to remain current in field of training as well as in effective instruction methods
· Where applicable, maintain industry certifications
· Participate in graduation ceremonies
This position is part-time, Monday-Thursday, 5:30pm-10:15pm.
Part-time instructor pay rate is $32.50.
Qualifications:
3+ years experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing residential and commercial systems; experience working with heat pumps, gas and oil-fired furnaces, ductwork, radiant heat, etc. Knowledge of electrical theory and heating theory is a must Must have experience soldering and brazingThe base pay for this position is $32.50 Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work. Position Overview
The Assistant Director of Nursing serves as a key clinical leader and operational partner to the Director of Nursing, supporting oversight of the Practical Nursing (PN) and Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) programs. This role shares responsibility for clinical education quality, faculty performance, regulatory compliance, and student outcomes. The Assistant Director acts on behalf of the Director of Nursing when needed and plays a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness, integrity, and growth of clinical programs.
The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate for nursing education, with a proven track record in program administration, curriculum oversight, and faculty development.

As a Financial Analyst you will be responsible for all aspects of operational financial management and performance evaluation, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and accounts receivable administration of assigned program departments. Essential component is the collaboration and support of program directors with a focus on customer service and professionalism.
This role is hybrid, at least 3 days onsite required weekly.
Job Duties:
Accounting and reporting for program operations in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including variance vs. budget and other performance analyses as appropriate. Ensure timely and accurate funder invoicing processes where applicable as well as timely and accurate reporting to third parties as required.Support Senior Finance leadership, both directly and through team, in timely delivery of requirements related to monthly, quarterly, and year- end financial reporting and audit. Timely reporting the of aged accounts receivable to Program Director and Finance department. Fully support all Business Development new program initiatives, including the timely preparation of all appropriate analyses, projections, budgets, and proposals.Work with the Senior Finance leadership in conducting appropriate due diligence and meaningful financial evaluations for any potential partners/acquisitions, providing senior leadership with high quality information essential to informed decision-making.
Collaborate with program and Information Technology team members in implementation and ongoing support of accounting – related capabilities of program software, including interfaces to the general ledger.Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. CPA and/or advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience and demonstrated ability.Strong quantitative, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.General accounting expertise as well as attention to detail. Familiarity with non-profit accounting standards, including those governing revenue recognition.Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft Excel.
