    Job Summary

    JEO’s Electrical Department provides expertise and services in low, medium, and high voltage projects.  Projects types range from Arc Flash, Utility and Industrial Facilities Power Systems, Sports Field and Street Lighting, to Distribution, Sub-Transmission, and Substation design. We also help clients with Long-Range and Capital Improvement Plans.

    The Electrical Engineer will support and serve industrial and municipal clients as well as internal JEO department needs. Responsibilities include:Develop electrical design plans and contract documentsProvide on-site inspection servicesEnsure completeness of the design related forms and reportsDevelop and review cost estimates and calculation of construction quantitiesOversee layout and/or review plans
    Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equal2+ years' experience working in the electrical engineering industryExperience with low or medium voltage projectsEngineer in Training (EIT) certificationPreferred Qualifications:4+ years' experience working in the electrical engineering industryProfessional Engineer (PE) LicenseElectrical distribution system modeling software experiencePLS CADD experienceDesire to engage in client development and marketing activities
