Job Responsibilities
Understand and implement dealership sales processOwn every aspect of the sales process (from new client prospecting to vehicle delivery)Present and demonstrate inventoryReview, update and manage daily inventory reportsCreate and execute strategies for increasing market sharePrepare and review monthly plans with sales leadershipMaintain Customer Service Index, Gross Average and monthly units to dealership standardsRemain up-to-date on products, market trends and certificationMust be familiar with Client Relationship Management (CRM) softwareEducation and/or Experience
Experience, education and prior sales training are a PLUS.
Compensation
Compensation is based on experience and commensurate with Fortune 500 companies.

Refinishes damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership quality specifications and time standards.
Essential Duties
· Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely.
· Removes rust from metal, and grease and dirt from work surface.
· Masks and protects parts that are not to be painted or coated.
· Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.
· Mixes paint according to specifications.
· Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color.
· Paints surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate.
· Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags and unpainted areas.
· Heats and sprays wax onto products after they are tested.
· Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair.
· Keeps work area clean.
· Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
· Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
· Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
· Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
· Other tasks as assigned.

Position Information:
The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. S/he will oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to him/her.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive repair order from advisor or manager and take to stall area.Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if required by the customer.Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.Advise service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.Document work performed.Road-test vehicles when required keeping in mind that the customers vehicles should not be used for personal errands.Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.Attend factory-sponsored training classes.Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.Ensure that customers’ cars are kept clean.Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owed tools at all times.Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.Road test vehicles to quality-check work performed.Qualifications:
High school diploma or the equivalent. Have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. ASE certification preferred. Valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Manual dexterity and good judgement.
Working Conditions:
The Technician will stand six to eight hours per shift, lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds several times during the shift, and use hoist and test equipment as needed. S/he will stoop, knee, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. S/he will use hand and power tools. S/he will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Road-testing of vehicles may be required. The Technician will be required to wear a dealership uniform at all times.

Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least comparable to that of the manufacturer, zone or branch average.Maintain a dealership-prescribed standard for “hours per customer repair order written.”Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc.Ensure that all documents are accounted for.Accomplish the forecast that has been established by the general manager and service manager.Customer-related:
Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner. Let customers who are waiting in line know that they will be helped soon.Schedule appointments using dealership-approved forms.Assign sequence numbers to each customer’s repair order.Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem(s).Obtain customer and vehicle data.Test-drive the vehicle or refer to the technician as necessary.Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications, using maintenance menus (if applicable).Lift the hood of every vehicle and look underneath for potential additional revenue.If additional work is needed, explain the details to the customers, including the additional costs and time consideration.Indicate on repair order the exact repair instructions, making a special note of the main reason(s) the customer brought the vehicle in. High school diploma or the equivalent. Have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Two years of dealership experience preferred. General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations. ASE certifications preferred. Possess professional personal appearance and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Working Conditions:
The Service Advisor works in the service lane and in the service office. The position requires stooping, bending, and moving throughout the service department. Works with service customers of most of the shift. S/he will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Road-testing of vehicles may be required.
