    About the Role:

    The Custom Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of inventory tailored to specific client requirements. This role involves managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods while maintaining high standards of quality control and compliance with regulatory guidelines. The manager will lead a team of warehouse staff, coordinating schedules, training, and performance to meet operational goals and customer expectations. They will also collaborate closely with supply chain, logistics, and sales teams to optimize workflows and implement custom solutions that enhance service delivery. Ultimately, the Custom Warehouse Manager ensures that the warehouse functions as a critical hub supporting the company’s commitment to timely and precise order fulfillment across the United States.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or operations, preferably in a custom or specialized warehouse environment.Proven experience managing teams and coordinating complex warehouse workflows.Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards applicable to warehouse operations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Certification in logistics or supply chain management such as APICS CPIM or CSCP.Experience with custom order fulfillment and handling specialized inventory requirements.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software to optimize warehouse performance.Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement projects using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

    Responsibilities:

    Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping customized inventory.Develop and implement warehouse processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy tailored to client specifications.Manage, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to maintain high performance and adherence to safety standards.Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and resolve any operational issues.Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure stock integrity and compliance with company policies.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.Analyze warehouse performance metrics and prepare reports to inform management decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
