    Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside nurses and medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also be helping manage the inventory of medical supplies, setting up machines and testing equipment, and cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment and has previous medical office experience.

    ***Please be aware that this role requires you to work one of the two schedule options below:
    OPTION 1: Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:45pm OR OPTION 2: Tuesday-Friday 7:30am-6:30pm

    What You’ll Do
    Conduct comprehensive new patient evaluations (history, symptoms, lifestyle, prior records)Develop individualized care plans using functional medicine principles: nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, targeted therapeutics, and ongoing monitoringOrder and interpret lab work (standard and specialty as appropriate): cardiometabolic, thyroid, sex hormones, inflammation, micronutrients, GI, and moreProvide structured follow-ups and refine treatment plans based on outcomes, data, and adherenceEducate patients on realistic expectations, timelines, and compliance requirementsCollaborate closely with MAs, patient liaisons, providers and administrative staff to deliver a high-touch membership experienceDocument accurately and promptly in the EMRPractice within Florida and federal requirements for prescribing and patient managementPerform physical exams, including complete pelvic health exams on men and womenProvide medical care with appropriate emotional and psychological support, building strong rapport with each patient
