The Position
Maintenance Technician - Looking for a hard-working and knowledgeable technician to assist us to keep our apartments and community looking beautiful and functioning efficiently. The right candidate should have a working knowledge of electric, plumbing, drywall, flooring, appliances, windows and locks. We offer great working conditions and hours and excellent wages - paid vacation and sick time 16-25 PAID holidays per year!
Some responsibilities:
Complete maintenance requests within apartment communityLifting of appliances, tile work, drywall work, appliance repair and installation, HVAC repairsSnow removalPerform and work together with contractors and all employeesCarpentry, plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurbishing, cleaning, waste removal, heat and air-conditioning repair, masonry, grounds keeping, landscaping and sewer maintenanceCarry out preventative maintenance program under the direction or Maintenance SupervisorBe available for emergency repairs and after-hour "on call" duty as requiredMust be capable of driving all company vehicles with valid driver's license (i.e. golf carts, quads and trucks)Capable of using all maintenance tollsCarrying out all maintenance duties safely that are required for this positionAbout JCMLiving

Position SummaryJCMLiving is seeking an experienced, results-driven Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our market-rate apartment communities. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with exceptional organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proven ability to maximize property performance while delivering an outstanding resident experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive and maintain high occupancy through effective leasing and resident retention strategies.Foster positive resident relationships by delivering exceptional customer service and resolving concerns professionally.Oversee rent collections, lease administration, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Lead, mentor, and supervise leasing, administrative, and maintenance team members.Ensure the community is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.Coordinate property maintenance and capital improvement projects.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local municipalities, police, fire departments, and community organizations.Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate team members to support performance and professional development.Monitor budgets, operating expenses, and financial performance to achieve property goals.Utilize property management software and technology to ensure operational efficiency and accurate reporting.Required QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of Property Manager experience managing market-rate multifamily communities.Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.Strong leadership and team management experience.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Proficient with property management software and Microsoft Office; strong technical aptitude is required.Demonstrated ability to meet occupancy, financial, and operational objectives.Professional, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional resident service.BenefitsJCMLiving offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance, including:
