  Jamacha Pet Vets is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team!
  
  This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians eager to fully utilize their surgical and anesthesia expertise while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
  
  In this role, you will:
  Provide exceptional patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs. Ensure an efficient surgical and procedural workflow, anticipating the needs of the veterinary team and patients. Communicate with clients to review treatment plans, answer questions, and provide discharge instructions with empathy and clarity.
  This role is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about anesthesia and are ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.
  
  This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.
  
  Full-time benefits and compensation :

  Minimum qualifications and skill set:
  3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of California Proficiency in the following skills Surgery Prep Anesthesia Induction and Monitoring Surgery Recovery

  4 DVMs (growing to 6-7) 4 RVTs with additional technicians and assistants being added AI scribe for notes Boarded internist, boarded cardiologist and traveling surgeon regularly scheduled in-house Great relationships with local specialists and emergency hospitals Fear-Free principles adopted Supportive Hospital Manager with RVT and ER background, highly engaged on the floor Collaborative culture where doctors regularly discuss cases and share ideas
  Day in the Life
  
  Example of a 3-Doctor day snapshot:
  Appointments from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm 15 support staff in the treatment area with 4 in the front Highly utilized support staff: Our RVTs and assistants practice at the top of their licenses-supporting appointments, treatments, surgery, dentals, and estimates-so doctors can focus on medicine in an efficient, well-run workflow. AI scribe Mix of wellness, procedures, dentistry, surgery, urgent care Procedures including spays/neuters, mass removals, exploratories, pyometra surgeries, enucleations, cherry eye and entropion repairs, splenectomies, cystotomies, and laceration repairs to name a few.
