    JOB TITLE: Operations Support Specialist (Temp to Hire / PART TIME 3 days / wk, potential for full-time)

    DEPARTMENT: Aerospace

    REPORTS TO: GM

    SUPERVISES: None

    POSITION TYPE: Non-exempt


    GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:


    The Operations Support Specialist plays a key role in keeping JAE Electronics' aerospace operations running smoothly. This position is responsible for accurate shipping and receiving, inventory control, and facilities support for our Houston location. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and office environment.


    MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:


    The primary functions of the Operations Support Specialist will be to accurately ship to customers and receive products from our vendors, forward the appropriate information to the operations group and store the products and parts in a safe location. The Operations Support Specialist will also be responsible for inventory management, including pulling parts for repair and shipping removed parts back to HQ. Secondary functions include office supply purchasing, organizing company events, maintaining the cleanliness of common areas and functionality of the facility.


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: PERCENT


    Shipping (35%)

    Prepare and process outbound shipments via UPS, FedEx, and other carriers

    Generate shipping labels, packing lists, and customs documentation as needed

    Coordinate with the operations team to confirm order accuracy before dispatch


    Receiving (35%)


    Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders

    Log received items into the inventory management system

    Notify the operations group promptly of received goods and flag discrepancies


    General Operations Support (30%)


    Maintain accurate inventory records; conduct cycle counts and reconcile variances

    Pull parts for repair orders and ship removed parts back to HQ

    Purchase and track office supplies; coordinate company events

    Maintain cleanliness of common areas and perform light building maintenance


    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


    Education: High School Diploma or equivalent


    Experience: Some experience in shipping and receiving, general warehouse, inventory control and utility maintenance

    preferred but not required.


    Skills: Microsoft Office product basic skills including Outlook, Teams, and Excel.

    Basic knowledge of Business Central and SAP a plus

    UPS / Fed Ex online shipping and tracking

    Good interpersonal and communications skills.

    Visual Inspection of units returned for repair against NCRThe repair work will consist of: Removing RTV adhesives without extra damage of chassis, wire harness, components, and other partsRemoving the damaged parts and replacing them with new parts in correct position and proper alignmentSoldering with HMP and PB86 solderInspection of work performed as part of own repair and of other techniciansPlacing adhesive or RTV on the repair unitsData entry of defect information, repair work Visual outgoing inspection of repaired unitsTraining of new repair technicians

    GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:


    The account manager is responsible for sales of JAE Aerospace products to primarily the Oil and Gas Upstream market but could include additional markets including Geothermal, HDD, and Mining. The Sales Director’s primary efforts will be: 1) the development of increased sales and market share for a list of key accounts as set by the General Manager, 2) the development of new applications for JAE Aerospace products, and 3) the identification of potential new JAE Aerospace products.


    MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:


    Achieve booking and sales objectives assigned by the General Manager.Meet JAE customers and prospects to promote JAE products and technology. Provide formal sales analysis, and forecasts (twice annually) for budgeting purposes on standard JAE Aerospace products and application specific products/programs that have been identified by sales activity.Develop and execute sales strategies for each key account.Report to management sales activity on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Interface with Product Management regarding the potential development of any new products. Participate in industry trade association meetings and committees as deemed necessary.Represent JAE at various industry trade shows.

    GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:


    The Assistant Sales Manager & Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects related to managing JAE’s Tesla business including Tesla Inc., with its headquarters in Austin, Texas. In addition, the individual will function as the Tesla Global Account Manager representing the interests of JAE worldwide. The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for providing sales support to customers and prospects related to JAE’s Tesla business. The individual may be responsible for managing and developing Sales Account Managers if business growth warrants. The Assistant Sales Manager will also responsible as program managers for design-in, development and utilization of JAE Product at key customers.

    This will be accomplished by collecting customer requirements, including customer specific requirements where appropriate, providing interconnect solutions and ultimately designing-in JAE standard, custom, and semi-custom products.


    The individual must be able to interface with JAE target customers and internal staff in the areas of OEM Applications and Connector Product Design. This is to include connector component materials, GD&T, electrical and electronic signal characteristics, thermal properties and the overall design of connectors as they relate to specific applications.



    MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:


    Develop overall business strategy and tactical plans for achieving Tesla business objectives. Create and administer individual objectives/sales plans for each sales division.Oversee compensation and incentive plans for employees if applicable.Meet JAE customers and prospects in conjunction with staff to promote JAE products and technology. Responsible for providing formal sales analysis, forecasting and budget creation. Prepare Tesla status reports for JAE Electronics’ executive management on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Facilitate the interface between sales, marketing, engineering, design and manufacturing groups within JAE regarding the development of new products. Authorize within specified guidelines identified by policy, price, and terms for customers on both standard and custom products and tooling/engineering costs.
