  Job Title: Accounting Assistant
  Type of Position: Full Time
  Location: Seattle, WA
  Pay: $22.00/hour - $32.00/hour
  Job Description:
  Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Coordinating mail flow in and out of office, receiving and distributing daily mail/deliveriesAssortment, processing and filing of large volumes of legal documents and healthcare formsSorting and reviewing of incoming faxesAssisting with supply inventoryCollaborating with the Operations team by providing feedback to aid in the long-term success of the Office Services departmentKeeping financial records up to datePerforming basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail, etc.Bookkeeping and Accounts PayableKeeping financial records up to dateCorrecting and modifying inaccurate files and recordsCompile and prepare routine reports and summariesReconciling account balancesFact-checking invoices for payment and processingVerifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactionsPerforming basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail, etc.Handling communications with clients and vendorsAssisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepanciesProtects organization's value by keeping information confidential.Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed Requirements: At minimum, Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field Bachelor's degree preferred.
