This position will require you to work independently and perform duties in the construction field office such as communicating issues and providing solutions concerning the work in progress, participate in project progress meetings and actively documenting the contractors work and field conditions. This is an on-site position. You will work under the direction of a Resident Engineer, and will assume the following functional responsibilities: Communicate effectively with inspectors, contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and industry standards. Monitor and inspect the work of contractors to ensure proper construction methods and techniques are utilized, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Review construction plans, specifications, submittals, drawings, change orders, and Requests for Information (RFIs) to confirm that the requirements of the construction contract are applied in the field.
