New Pathology Locums Job in Georgia Our client in Georgia is looking for additional Pathologist locum support. The idea candidate will have ongoing availability and be able to assist through the year. Open weeks of coverage: - February 9-13, 16-20 - March 16-20, 23-27 - April 6-10 - May 4-8 - June 1-5, 8-12 - July 6-10 - August 3-7 - September 8-11 - October 12-16, 19-23 - November 16-20, 23-25 - December 21-23, 28-31 Details/Requirements for Assignment : - Must have active Georgia license or IMLC and Board Certification in AP/CP Pathology - Average number of cases:Covering reads for 5 hospitals: 100 surgical cases split between all Pathologists. Hemapathologist handles all bone marrow. - Cases include: GI Biopsies, skin biopsies, prostate biopsies, bladder biopsies, laryngeal biopsies, breast biopsies, lung biopsies (for tumors) - Types of Cytology - 5-10 GYN, 15-20 non-GYN cytology including FNA cases (Smears, thinpreps, cell blocks) cases distributed evenly - Will work with 3 other Pathologists and 3-4 Histotechs - Four transcriptionists that use Voicebrook recognition - There are 2
