As a Senior-Level Healthcare Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing complex construction projects from start to finish. This high-level position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of healthcare construction processes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to make critical decisions to ensure successful project execution. You will be working closely with your designated Project Manager to take projects from pre-construction through completion. The work is primarily healthcare related with emphasis on interior renovations (hospital and medical office buildings). Some of the projects will involve the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA).
Most of the work for this position will fall within the Tampa-to-Sarasota area. On occasion, working outside of this radius is warranted and travel will be required. However, we strive and prefer to work locally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership and direction to on-site teams, including subcontractors and vendors, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications and industry standardsEnsure project timelines are met and report progress to upper managementImplement and maintain a safe work environment, including adhering to all OSHA regulationsManage project budget and resources, including materials, equipment and laborCoordinate with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to resolve any design and construction issuesProvide regular progress reports to upper management, stakeholders and ownersEnsure that all construction activities are performed in compliance with building codes and regulations
Qualifications:
