About the Role:
As a CBRE, Government & Defense Services Commercial Cleaning Lead, you are responsible for overseeing the work activities of cleaners within the site. You will supervise the staff responsible for ensuring a clean, orderly, and safe environment for employees and clients.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks and cross-train staff.Schedule daily staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.Check cleaning equipment condition. Order cleaning supplies as needed. Ensure supplies are in a safe, secure area always.Coordinate and liaise with clients and employees. Handle complaints and feedback.Inform the team of requests and confirm completion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Connects appliance to power source and test meters, such as wattmeter, ammeter, or voltmeter, observes readings on meters and graphic recorders.Examines appliance during operating cycle to detect excess vibration, overheating, fluid leaks and loose parts.Disassembles appliances and examines mechanical and electrical parts.Traces electrical circuits, following diagram and locates shorts and grounds, using ohmmeter, calibrates timers, thermostats and adjusts contact point.Cleans and washes parts, using wire brush, buffer, and solvent to remove carbon, grease and dust.Replaces worn or defective parts, such as switches, pumps, bearings, transmissions, belts, gears, blowers and defective wiring.Repairs and adjusts appliance motors.Reassembles appliance.Adjusts pulleys and lubricates moving parts, using hand tools and lubricating equipment.Performs other duties as assignedKnowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
A minimum of five (5) years of experience performing the work of a maintenance mechanic.General knowledge of hand and power toolsExcellent written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of computer software programs to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required.Must be able to successfully pass a government background screen for admittance to jobsiteHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certificate in related field preferredPhysical, Environmental and Sensory Requirements

As a CBRE, GDS Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties. This includes mopping, sweeping and trash disposal. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of your assigned areas.
What You’ll Do:
Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which includes moving and rearranging furniture.Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.Ensure that cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times.
