We have an exciting opportunity for aAssistant Project Manager- Fire Sprinkler located in Stevens Point, WI . How you will contribute: The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the sprinkler Project Management team assisting with change orders, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors on sprinkler projects. You will be a key member on the project team making sure field crews have their resources well planned and organized for installation efficiency. Additional responsibilities and growth within the project team and the company are limited only by your ability and motivation. Work alongside customers and members at all levels of the organization by providing top-notch customer service. You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented environment. What you need to qualify: Ahern will help make the most of your post-secondary education ideally in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Preferred candidates willhave 1-3+ years of experience, internship included. We have an exciting opportunity for aExperienced Piping or Plumbing VDC/BIM Designer located in Appleton, WI . How you will contribute: As a Plumbing or Piping Designer at J. F. Ahern, you'll play a critical role in the success of our projects. You will design and model complex systems-either plumbing or piping-based on provided specifications and ensure all associated drawings, calculations, and material lists are accurate and complete. Your work sets the foundation for project execution, enabling our field and shop teams to deliver with optimal productivity and efficiency. You'll collaborate with project teams to coordinate comprehensive systems that vary in size and scope, operating independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and ensure quality. What You Need to Qualify To succeed in this role, you should have either an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Design, Civil Engineering, Computer-Aided Drafting/Design, or a related field with proficiency in recent versions of software, including Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud. You may also qualify through equivalent field experience such as managing large commercial or industrial construction projects that involve fabrication and coordination responsibilities. A strong understanding of building construction, the ability to read blueprints, and solid math and problem-solving skills are required. You should also be able to manage design schedules and lead coordination efforts. How you will contribute: As a Service Coordinator, you will take incoming service calls and schedule technicians for customer visits to address emergency requests and preventative maintenance services. You will exhibit strong attention to detail while coordinating part ordering, issuing purchase orders, and assisting customers with invoicing/billing questions. This role will also involve assisting with the assembly of proposal and bidding documents and processing maintenance contracts and renewals.
