    Overview

    Electro Mechanical Technician with a high level experience in electrical connector assembly, cable assembly and wired soldering/crimping termination in a prototype/development environment.



    Responsibilities

    Electro/mechanical technician: Assembles, repairs, upgrades and tests electronic and mechanical components and assemblies.Expert knowledge of mechanical assembly technology and electrical circuit diagrams.Expert knowledge of soldering and crimping wiring technics and processesWork under the guidance of Product Engineering in a NPI development environmentSupport development by providing feedback and potential improvements to enhance product production capabilitiesProvide training for other operators/technicians as product matures into production.Other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    Working knowledge of electrical test equipment: Voltmeters and multichannel tester for low-mid voltage and low current.Hand soldering/IPC certificationWorking knowledge of wiring diagrams blue-prints/drawings.Working knowledge of blue-print/drawing symbols.Ability to manage multiple tasks and report out updates to group leads.Highly self-motivated, a willingness to make a difference and learnExcellent communication skills and the ability to work with different engineering team membersWorking knowledge of computer basics.Ability to travel to our Nogales Mexico facility for product transfers

    Preferred

    Knowledge in electrical connectors and the Aerospace and Defense industry.Electrical Cabling terminology and construction knowledge.

    Overview

    Operate an Okuma LB3000 CNC lathe Machine for the production of parts used in the manufacturing of electrical connectors. Level of Machinist depends on variety of skill level to set up and operate various machinery to include CNC machines, manual lathes, mills, drill presses, and saws.



    Responsibilities

    Okuma LB3000 CNC lathe with sub spindle experience desired. Operates a variety of machine tools and equipment, such as manual lathes, mills, drill presses, cut off saws and CNC turning and milling equipment. Performs setup to operation to produce a variety of production parts and tools from metal, plastics and other materials.Inspects all work using precision measuring tools to ensure all parts meet drawing specifications.Makes adjustments and offsets to machines to control speed, material feed, and path of cut.Makes sure machines are setup properly, working well and producing quality product.Performs work under general to minimal supervision depending on skill level/experience.Enters accurate daily labor information into data collection system.Quality conscientious and responsible for all aspects of quality related to work produced.Knowledge and general understanding of ISO 9001 quality policies.Adheres to all safety directives/requirements within the area and facility (i.e. Personal Protective Equipment) and fully participates in all 6S activities and daily clean-up. The candidate will interact daily with product managers . sales agents, distributors, end customers and engineers in support of product management activities.



    Responsibilities

    Implement pricing tools for ongoing quote activities and support the development of online and manual tools to improve pricing response to the field - achieve a sub 5-day average turnaround time on all quotationsSupport product cost and market price analysis in coordination with the product manager to improve margins and closure rates on quotes and contract pricing agreements - achieve a minimum 15% closure rate on relevant product linesProvide Sales support by processing sample orders and supplying product related information to the Sales team, distribution, and end customers - maintain an exceptional level of responsiveness to front-end inquiriesProvide marketing communications support as directed by the Product Manager - build and execute a plan that includes a minimum of 1 marketing content release per quarterProvide project management support as directed by the Product Manager - ensure VBPD projects and product launches are executed in accordance with the product roadmapOther duties as assigned by management.
