    This is a seconded position, meaning the selected candidate will be employed by ITAC but work full-time on assignment with one of our clients. While day-to-day responsibilities will be managed on-site with the client, ITAC provides ongoing support, resources, and benefits as your employer. This position is full-time contract work anticipated to last through six (6) months with possible extension into 2027 and requires the employee to be available to be onsite at the client's Kings Mountain, NC location.     Overview:

    ITAC is seeking to fill a Project Controls & Compliance Analyst position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both project controls and compliance functions, with responsibilities typically split between the two disciplines. Depending on project needs and the successful candidate's experience, the role may ultimately focus more heavily on either Project Controls or Compliance.

    The Project Controls & Compliance Analyst will support project cost management, forecasting, reporting, scheduling, and performance tracking activities while also assisting with compliance requirements, documentation, audits, and regulatory obligations associated with government-funded work. The successful candidate will work closely with project leadership and report to both the Director of Compliance and the Project Controls Manager.

    Responsibilities

    Support project cost control, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting activities.Evaluate existing project control procedures and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce scheduling and cost-related issues.Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and validation activities as required.Generate forecasts, variance analyses, cash flow reports, and other documentation used to track project performance.Perform schedule reviews and critical path analysis to identify potential project risks and impacts.Assist with resource planning and staffing forecasts in collaboration with project leadership.Support Earned Value Management (EVM) implementation and earned value analysis.Prepare and maintain project controls dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.Review change orders and assess schedule and cost impacts.Compile and distribute project reports and reporting packages.Perform other project controls duties as assigned.Support compliance activities associated with government contracts and project requirements.Maintain compliance records, documentation, and required reporting.Assist with audits, assessments, compliance reviews, and corrective action tracking.Monitor compliance with contractual, regulatory, and internal requirements.Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance obligations are met and properly documented.Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance processes and procedures.Assist leadership with compliance reporting and documentation management.Maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality in all work activities.Collaborate effectively with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders.Build and maintain professional, respectful working relationships.Meet project commitments, deadlines, and budget expectations.Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, and enhance project performance.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.At least 5 years of experience supporting project controls, cost control, compliance, project administration, or related functions.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work across functional teams.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting federal, government, or government-contractor projects.Prior experience in compliance, regulatory, or contract administration roles.Experience with project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Knowledge of project scheduling concepts and project controls methodologies.SAP experience strongly preferred.Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM).Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, or regulatory reporting requirements.Experience in engineering, construction, industrial, energy, infrastructure, or similar project environments.

    Responsibilities

    Independently performs Electrical Engineering activities for all phases of Electrical development and equipment design for a project of moderate size and complexity. Must be fully competent in performing all conventional aspects of Electrical Engineering and application of independent judgment for the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design engineering criteria, methods, and procedures. Assignments have objectives requiring the investigation of several variables. Periodic review of work done by less experienced engineers is required.

    5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent working knowledge/experience)Licensed Professional Engineer with the ability to obtain licenses in multiple states, if needed.     We are seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic production environment. This role serves as a dedicated engineering resource focused on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving equipment effectiveness, troubleshooting production issues, and partnering closely with operations teams on the plant floor.

    The Process Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the organization's ongoing manufacturing transformation, including the planned transition of production operations from Nashville, Tennessee to a newly constructed facility in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.     ITAC is seeking a reliable and hardworking Sheet Metal Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you will assemble or fabricate parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a manufacturing organization. A Sheet Metal & Laser Apprentice combines the skills of traditional sheet metal fabrication with precision laser cutting and welding. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in an industrial setting.

    Job Summary:

    Assisting machinists and other skilled workers with their tasks to enhance productivity.Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, which includes sweeping, mopping, and removing trash.Transporting materials and tools to and from the work area as needed.Preparing materials for production, including cutting, sorting, and packaging.Assisting in machine setup and teardown under the supervision of an experienced operator.Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.Performing basic maintenance tasks and troubleshooting under supervision.Participating in team meetings and contributing to productivity improvement discussions.ResponsibilitiesFabrication & Installation: Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal (steel, aluminum, etc.) to build enclosures, and other components.Laser Cutting: Operate laser cutting machines to produce precise, repeatable cuts from metal sheets, following blueprints and specifications.Welding & Joining: GTAW experience required.     We are seeking a full-time Project Engineer with a strong industrial manufacturing background to support a multi-year factory transformation initiative.     Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a manufacturing organization.

    Essential duties and responsibilities

    Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and productsPrefer candidate with GMAW and GTAW experience in aluminum, steel and stainless steelUtilize handheld tools such as a hand held screw gun, drill gun, and grindersOperate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand toolMaintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methodsContinually evaluate weld machine performance and technology to improve cycle timesCreate specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirementsPerform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standardsRework and/or repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification changesPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety proceduresPrioritize work flow through effective communication with management staffMaintain a clean and safe work area

    Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrical General Foreman, with a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a single industrial site. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness and capability to perform hands-on electrical work as needed. Experience in mentoring and guiding Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices to support workforce development.
