    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAble Autism Therapy Services - Snellville is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will develop, implement, and oversee behavioral intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves conducting assessments, supervising behavior technicians, and collaborating with families and healthcare professionals to promote positive outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with disabilities in behavioral health settings.

    Essential FunctionsDesign and implement evidence-based behavioral intervention plans tailored to each client's needs.Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including functional behavior and skills assessments.Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.Supervise and train behavior technicians and other staff members in data collection, intervention techniques, and ethical practices.Completes RBT competency assessments and reassessmentsResponsible for continued competence and professional growth of RBTs, RBT Fellows, and Trainers during weekly consultations comprised of observation and BST, providing written feedback, supervision meetings, and additional training as neededEnsures supervision hours of RBTs, meets the requirements of the BACBBuilds and maintains positive family/caregiver relationships throughout the course of treatment of the patient. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers to ensure consistency across environments.Identifies touchpoints throughout the patient's experience at Able Autism Therapy Services to meet with the parents/caregivers to review progress and collaborate on development of individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plan. Completes regularly scheduled parent trainingMaintain accurate medical documentation, records, and reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Provide patient care through ongoing evaluation of behavioral health status and adjustment of treatment plans as necessary.Ensure adherence to all legal and ethical standards related to behavioral health services and patient confidentiality.Competencies and RequirementsMinimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior AnalysisCertified and maintains credentialing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a BCBA in good standingHolds necessary payor credentialing requirements (Example: NPI#, CAQH) in the State of GeorgiaHolds and maintains applicable state-level credentialing for practicing BCBAs in good standingMeets BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board) supervision requirementsMust have experience performing or assisting in the following BCBA responsibilities: conducting skills assessment (i.e., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, PEAK), conducting functional behavior assessments and/or functional analyses, program writing, data analysis, and creating behavior intervention plansExperience with applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, and working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.Strong knowledge of clinical terminology, medical records management, and patient assessment procedures.Experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical documentation.Excellent data collection skills and ability to analyze behavioral data effectively.Prior experience in special education or behavioral health settings is preferred.Ability to take initiative, work independently, and demonstrate excellent time management skillsDemonstrated leadership skills and relationship managementCulturally awareSelf-developmentObtain/possess and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification and re-certification every 2 yearsCompassionate approach to patient care with excellent written and oral communication skills.
