Organization: Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati (ICGC) – Social Services Department
ICGC Social Services is seeking a Social Services Manager to lead and support our case management and service delivery team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, organized, and strategic professional committed to serving the community through effective leadership and collaboration.
This Full-time position reports directly to the Executive Director, and works closely with the Social Services team and community partners. Compensation is commensurate with experience, credentials, and skills.
Primary ResponsibilitiesLead daily team check-ins to ensure smooth service operations and effective communication.
Supervise staff to ensure procedures are followed and informed decisions are made.
Manage daily operations, delegate tasks, and monitor overall workflow.
Evaluate staff performance and identify training or development needs.
Review service delivery efficiency and recommend improvements to procedures and systems.
Address client concerns and guide the team in providing excellent customer service.
Oversee and improve staff documentation, note-taking, and case management practices.
Review and approve financial assistance applications in collaboration with the Program Manager.
Mentor and coach team members to promote professional growth and skill development.
Conduct staff performance reviews in line with ICGC policy and departmental goals.
Collaborate with internal leadership and external partners to identify and advocate for needed services.
Assist in developing and implementing new policies, systems, and service improvements.
Support the preparation of budgets, reports, and grant applications as needed.
Coordinate with the Finance, HR, and Administration teams to ensure organizational compliance and efficiency.
General ResponsibilitiesHandle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
Work collaboratively across departments to share client updates and coordinate services.
Research and develop community resources to meet evolving client needs.
Participate in staff meetings, training, and team development activities.
Preferred QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree required; Social Work License (LSW or equivalent) preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in social work, case management, or a related field
Experience working with Muslim immigrant or refugee populations preferred
Language Skills:
Bilingual proficiency preferred (English and Arabic, Fulani, French, or other relevant languages)

Excellent communication—both written and verbal

Work Environment:

General:
ICGC Social Services is seeking an Education & Career Coach. This position will be responsible for providing career guidance & navigation services to youth regarding college education, post-secondary vocational training, career certification, or apprenticeship programs that lead to gainful employment & self-sufficiency in the future through our program Success@School that aims to empower and uplift young adults (preference given to 18 to 26 year old students), from low-income families in the Greater Cincinnati area, through higher education and career development.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to identify participant’s interests, skills, strengths, and barriers
Help participants create life & career goals and make well-informed decisions through research
Provide guidance in choosing higher education/training programs, facilitate enrollment, and track academic progress over the course of the program through monthly check-ins
Facilitate financial assistance for training, and other supportive services through case management
Remove barriers to academic success through supportive services such as fulfilling training-related needs of uniforms, certification fees, textbooks, transportation, child care, etc.
Develop partnerships with local trade schools, apprenticeship programs, educational institutions, training hubs, industry experts/groups, local workforce development agencies, and employers
Facilitate transition to the workforce after graduation from the program
Other Responsibilities
Document client info in Salesforce and handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Advocate for needed services & entitlements, and provide quality & cost-effective interventions
Participate in events to maximize marketing, networking & outreach efforts as needed
Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and share updates
Participate in staff meetings and maintain positive team relationships
Adhere to professional standards as outlined by ICGC protocols, rules & regulations
Perform a range of associated administrative functions, as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Social Work, Counseling, or Business Management)
Bilingual Preferred (English & Arabic/Fulani/French)
Experience in working with young adults with a focus on education and career development is required
Experience in working with Muslim immigrant families is a plus
Understanding and experience in tackling youth mental, social & cultural challenges is a plus
Financial and/or Life Coaching Certification is a plus

The Qur’an Connection Program at the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati (ICGC) is seeking qualified and dedicated Qur’an teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in Qur’anic recitation, the proper application of Tajweed, and the ability to inspire students of all ages to develop a strong connection with the Book of Allah.
Teachers will be responsible for providing structured Qur’an instruction, fostering spiritual growth, and maintaining a positive, engaging, and respectful learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:Teach Qur’an recitation and memorization with proper Tajweed and pronunciation.
Design and implement engaging lessons tailored to children, youth, and adults at varying proficiency levels.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback and support.

Compensation: $16–$18/hour (based on experience)
The Food Pantry Helper plays a key role in providing food assistance to individuals and families in need by supporting the day-to-day operations of the ICGC Food Pantry. This includes organizing inventory, receiving deliveries, preparing food bags, and helping maintain a welcoming, clean, and respectful environment. This position reports directly to the Food Pantry Manager and may evolve as the program expands and community needs grow.
Primary ResponsibilitiesReceive, unpack, and stock food pantry deliveries
Organize and restock shelves using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory method
Prepare food bags for distribution
Maintain a clean and orderly pantry environment
Pick up Shared Harvest supplies monthly from Fairfield
Support food distribution events and attend meetings or training sessions as needed
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and organizational policies.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (occasionally up to 70 lbs)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to pass a background check and provide necessary documentation
Basic computer proficiency, including managing emails and entering appointment information into scheduling systems
Basic knowledge of data entry and database management
Experience in a food pantry, warehouse, or community service setting
Familiarity with food safety and inventory best practices
Bilingual skills are a plus
