    PURPOSE OF POSITION

    Assists in maintaining standards of student discipline and ensuring the observance of rules and procedures by students and others on the school campus at the direction of a school administrator or teacher.

    The Campus Aide may be assigned to work in one or more of the following areas and will be cross-trained in all duty areas listed below. The principal will assign tasks and schedules.

    RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

    Meal Service in the Classroom (as applicable)
    Prep for Breakfast in Classroom Serve breakfast to students Bag and Empty trash after breakfast in the classroom Wipe down food bags and carts Cover classrooms during nutrition (as applicable) Prepare for Lunch in the classroom Serve lunch to students Cover classrooms during lunch (as applicable) Bag and Empty trash after lunch in the classroom Wipe down food bags and carts Maintain meal service equipment including refrigerator. Performs other duties as assigned.
    Grab and Go Meals (as applicable)
    Prep for Grab and Go Meals Set up tables, canopies, and signage according to the ISANA Grab and Go meal distribution plan. Pack Grab and Go meal bags and distribute them to families. Complete meal tally sheet and turn in to SOM. Tear down, clean up and sweep meal distribution area. Bag and empty trash after meal distribution. Maintain meal service equipment including refrigerator. Performs other duties as assigned.
    On-Site Meal Service
    Prep for on-site meal service, before school breakfast, Second Chance Breakfast, and lunch. Set up and sanitize meal service tables, POS station with laptop and scanner, menu board, Share Table with share box(es), and canopies. Wipe down student meal tables before meal service and then between each group of students.
    MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

    Knowledge of:
    Safety rules and procedures to be observed by students Standards of courtesy and behavior expected of students Adolescent development and problems Vocabulary and usage of terms common to youth in the area served by the school
    Ability to:
    Establish good relations with individual students and groups Communicate orally with District staff, parents, and students React quickly and appropriately in emergencies Operate two-way radio equipment Work effectively with District personnel, students, parents, the public, and others

    The Special Education Assistant assists the classroom teacher and school service providers by providing the following academic and behavioral support to an individual student or group of students:

    A Special Education Paraprofessional assists individual students and small groups of students with academic and behavioral challenges in and outside of the classroom setting under the supervision of a Resource Specialist Teacher, General Education Teacher and/or Behavior Intervention Case Manager (BICM) certified School Psychologist. Additionally, you assist in implementation of Individualized Education Plans and/or behavior plans and track data daily to provide necessary information for the purposes of developing annual IEP goals and objectives for assigned student(s). You are someone who is comfortable and adaptable to working with diverse student populations and schools.

    RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
    Assists student(s) in following classroom routines, working on-task, and completing assignments with increasing independence. Clarifies, rephrases, and repeats instructions from teacher for student(s) as needed. Collaborates with teacher in weekly lesson planning. Assists teacher with differentiating instruction and implementing academic and behavioral accommodations for student(s). Collaborates with school staff in behavioral support. Assists with implementation of behavior support plan, including behavioral data collection; reinforcement of positive behavior; use of sensory breaks (as needed); and assistance in following-through with consistent appropriate consequences for challenging behaviors. Use of Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NCI), Love and Logic and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) strategies to prevent and modify maladaptive student behavior. Assists student(s) (including physical assistance as needed) with fine motor tasks and mobility, if needed. Work one-to-one with student(s) who have behavior challenges in school. Students served may include those with Autism Spectrum Disorders, behavioral and learning disabilities. Facilitate students' academic, emotional, and social skills per IEP, and Behavior Support Plan. Collect academic and behavioral data. Attend in-service training sessions. Use software to monitor timelines, service delivery and data collection.
    MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
    At least six months working with special needs children and knowledge of autism spectrum disorders. Familiarity with ABA, Floor Time, Discrete Trial Training, and implementation of programs designed to enhance learning, peer relationships, functional communication and behavior.

    Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:
    Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills. Always maintain a professional image and courteous demeanor. Prior experience working with children. Must be patient, creative, motivational & enthusiastic toward children. Must be ethical, professional, reliable, diligent, and work well within a team setting. Must be comfortable taking initiative, taking direction from others and working independently. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to run short distances, sit on floor, bend down, squat, kneel, and twist at the waist in order to interact and educate our clients Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) is preferred. Reliable transportation to work. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) a plus.     The Opportunity

    The Student Recruitment and Enrollment Coordinator will play a critical role in designing and implementing annual student recruitment and enrollment plans that align with the ISANA mission, values, and priorities. They will collaborate with the Student and Family Services Coordinators (SFSCs), School leaders, Central Office teams to ensure a comprehensive, coherent school strategy, including but not limited to, planning, data management, outreach, and marketing. They will work with all levels at the ISANA Central Offices and at our schools, as well as with families, students, community-based partners, and external stakeholders.

    Primary role of the Coordinator is to ensure that all ISANA schools are fully enrolled. The Coordinator will accomplish this by engaging with families and the community, increasing operational efficiency and effectiveness through the recruitment and enrollment process, analyzing trends to drive recruitment and enrollment decision making, and developing best practices. They will train and coach school team members on effective recruitment and enrollment strategies and implement new practices across the organization.

    The Coordinator will directly report to the Chief Operations Office and/or the Chief Executive Officer.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities of the Student Recruitment and Enrollment Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
    Partner with the COO to develop and oversee the execution of ISANAs student recruitment and enrollment strategy Define metrics, set targets, and track progress against recruitment and enrollment goals across the organization Partner with media department on development of standardized marketing materials and planning/implementation of both online and offline recruitment strategies Work with school sites to ensure Social Media channels are up to date Partner with the Business Operations Manager to manage the student lottery process and software Support SFSCs in the development of school-level recruitment plans, strategies and events to engage families and increase enrollment applications Partner with SFSCs to develop partnerships with community organizations and non-ISANA schools for the purpose of student recruitment Directly support schools with recruitment by attending recruitment events and assisting in the coordination of volunteers, leading canvassing and outreach efforts, and presenting to community organizations as needed. Coach SFSCs to ensure school recruitment and enrollment efforts are planned and executed Provide training, professional development, and coaching to build SFSCs capacity in development and implement student recruitment plans Manage recruitment and collection of Prop 39 Interest Forms Support special projects and other tasks as instructed by the COO and/or CEO Assist in the training of school teams on effective student recruitment strategies Assist in the recruiting, training, and support of canvassing teams Facilitate the sharing of recruitment and enrollment best practices Provide struggling schools with additional coaching, training, and execution of student recruitment and enrollment plans
    Location and Physical Requirements
    This job is primarily in the field and at the various ISANA school sites. The job is often at events outdoors and may require lifting materials, setting up tents and tables, standing for period of time, walking long distances in the community, and speaking to members of the community in small and large group settings Must have reliable transportation, insurance coverage, and a valid Class C California driver's license
    Qualifications
    Five years experience in people and/or project management Demonstrated record of success in managing varied stakeholders to outcomes Experience in school operations or business operations (project management, vendor management, etc.) with track record of success Strong project management experience; strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and relationship-building skills Demonstrated passion for the mission, vision and values of ISANA Academies Excellent communication skills with diverse constituents; clear writer, facilitator and speaker Bachelor's degree required; proficiency in Spanish a plus Ability to tackle multiple projects and initiatives at once with a strong sense or organization, prioritization, follow through and results orientation Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility
