We’re looking for a reliable, energetic Farmers Market Attendant to represent Irene’s Diner at local markets this summer through fall. This is a hands-on, independent role perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings, customer interaction, and being part of a small food business.
Schedule
Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday: 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Season runs June 2 through October
Pay
$150 per market dayResponsibilities
Transport products and equipment to and from market locations Set up and break down tent, tables, and full market booth Provide friendly, efficient customer service Handle cash and process transactions accurately Keep booth organized, stocked, and visually appealing Represent the Irene’s brand with a positive, professional attitude Requirements
Must have a reliable car (you’ll be responsible for transport + setup) Strong customer service skills and a great attitude Comfortable handling cash and working independently Punctual, dependable, and able to lift/carry equipment Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions What We’re Looking For
Someone outgoing and personable who enjoys talking to customers A self-starter who can take ownership of the booth Organized and detail-oriented, especially with setup and cash handling
