A General Contractor is searching for an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee Projects in the Northern California Area.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to assigned project team members and subcontractors.Ensure that the work is executed according to contract terms and conditions.Develop and manage the construction plan for the successful execution of the work performed.Prepare and update the original Project Schedule and ensure the schedule is kept current to manage the project appropriately while utilizing Weekly Work Plans.Conduct weekly coordination meetings with project teams and subcontractors and prepares daily field status reports.Interact effectively with owners, subcontractors and other stakeholders to maintain a positive project environment.Assist in the review of shop drawings, submittals, subcontract change orders and purchase orders.Coordinate the documentation of design conflicts and clarifications with the appropriate personnel.Coordinate and perform the timely completion of all punch lists and develop a schedule as required by the owner for the successful start-up and commissioning of all systems.Develop and implement the Project Quality Management and Safety plans for the Project.
Minimum Job Requirements
8 to 15 years construction experience is required.Must have construction project and supervision experience in Public Works Tenant Improvement projects.Must have OSHA 30 card or equivalent.Must have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods), negotiations, engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety.Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills are essential.Proficiency in using Word, Excel, Procore, Project and other estimating software.Some travel between San Jose, Sacramento and Travis AFB may be required.Must be physically fit.Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: The Construction Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
