    SUMMARY:Under the direction of the Community Programs Director, the Senior Project Manager Ward 4 serves as the DACL Project Manager and provides direct support to the Community Programs Director, who serves as the DACL Project Director. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring Iona’s Ward 4 DACL grant-funded programs follow grant requirements, meet grant objectives, and remain within budget. The Senior Project Manager coordinates goals and objectives in-line with Iona’s strategic plan and DACL service standards, ensures adequate progress is made towards their completion, and evaluates outputs and outcomes to provide recommendations for improvement. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for budget management and oversight of Iona’s DACL programs, including supporting the annual budget development process. The Senior Project Manager provides management and oversight of Iona’s Ward 4 community dining sites which are responsible for providing programs and services to engage and educate older adults. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the timely submission of monthly invoices and liaises with appropriate DACL staff in partnership with Iona staff. This contract runs through September 30, 2026.RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Congregate Dining Oversight

    Develop and implement training for site staff and volunteers and collaborate with the nutrition team to arrange for food handlers’ certification, CPR and first aid training.Provide supervision to Ward 4 Nutrition Program Manager, Ward 4 Social Services Coordinator, and Ward 4 Activities and Outreach ManagerProvide general oversight of programs to include collaborating with teams to implement recreation, health promotion, counseling, information and referral, individual socialization and outreach activities.Ensure intakes and nutrition screening forms are up to date, and in compliance with Department of Aging and Community Living (DACL) grant standards, and evaluation of the programs.Provide additional support for community dining sites during special events or other situations requiring additional support.Engage with community stakeholders on a regular basis

    Data and Reporting

    Oversee DACL participant and program data, including intakes, units, and participant surveys, ensuring all data requirements are completed accurately and on time.Complete monthly reports, as well as quarterly missing data reports, and ad-hoc reports as requested by the Community Programs Director, Iona’s CEO, Development Team or DACL.Develop data dashboard to track grant objectives and present progress to all staff.Ensure organization-wide compliance with all DACL Grant Policy Manual requirements by working with finance, administration, and program staff.


    Program Management and Leadership

    Monitor grant budgets and assist with DACL budget creation, revisions, monitoring, accountability, and monthly invoicing requirements.Actively provide updates on DACL policy changes to Iona staff.Coordinate with program managers, finance, and administrative staff to develop standard operating procedures related to DACL grant guidelines.Create and monitor Iona’s annual DACL Project Plan to ensure all grant requirements are met for the Lead Agency Ward 4, Non-Lead Agency, ALZ Initiative, and Congress Heights DACL grants. Monitor DACL’s annual schedule and guide staff attending DACL functions.Facilitate communication between Iona staff and DACL grant monitors, serving as the primary liaison to ensure effective collaboration.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor’s Degree required2+ years of experience working in aging services, community-based services, or non-profit management.Supervisory and management experience required.Superior quantitative reasoning, data analysis, and program evaluation skills.Strong organizational capabilities with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse staff, from directors to direct service staff.Advanced computer skills required; experience with Excel, Access, and/or similar programs preferred.Contractor is responsible for all applicable taxes and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage.

    SUMMARY:

    Reporting directly to the Accounting Manger, the Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in the financial operations of Iona and processing transactions. Will also, work closely with the Accounting Manager to maintain strong financial records. This position requires a high level of integrity, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. This position operates in an office environment, with occasional opportunities for remote work.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Process vendor bills via Bill.com, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors, and maintaining proper documentation for all transactions.Maintain new vendors and file required documentation such as contracts, W-9, and payment information. Develop good relationships with vendors and handle vendors and staff inquiries. Perform monthly bank reconciliation and identify discrepancies. Assist with posting revenue transactions and other billing functions. Proactively communicate with AM and Iona Directors about missing information, coding inaccuracies, and other matters. Assist the accounting manager with government reimbursement reports.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.Minimum of 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization. Proficiency in Bill.com preferred.Experience with Sage Intacct preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Excel. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality. A team player with strong integrity, ethics, professionalism, and a commitment to advancing Iona’s mission.An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills.A suitable DMV area home-based work environment to perform work duties without distraction and maintain Iona confidential information in a secure manner.

    SUMMARY:

    Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will assist with medication administration, taking and recording vital signs, and maintain accurate medical files. Assist participants with personal care and rehabilitative services. Will also assist with program, recreational and social activities, including lunch, as needed to meet the needs of the participants. The LPN shares responsibility with all staff for assisting clients as needed, reporting to the Registered Nurse.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Direct Service

    Administer treatments and medication, in absence of the RN.Provide hands-on assistance with toileting Assist participant in self-care activities Assist with serving lunch and snacks, monitoring individual dietary needsWorking in collaboration with the Social Worker, partake in new participant intake and facilitate nursing assessments.

    Collaboration with other staff

    Communicate care needs of participants, suggest improvements and discuss progress with the Center’s Care Team. Report changes in client condition. Assist with maintenance of clinical records; assuring required documentation is in patient charts to assure regulatory compliance Escort on bus route and field trips as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS

    LPN license in the District of ColumbiaExperience working as with geriatric population preferredAbility to communicate with and establish effective relationships with staff, participants, caregivers and volunteersFlexibility in schedule and open to short notice requests to coverAbility to lift at least 20 poundsOther requirements: Initial and annual chest X-ray/PPD; CPR and First Aid certification; Maintain Practical Nursing License
