  Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer Cloud & Infrastructure Location- Hybrid in Palo Alto, CA Duration- 12+ months Job Description: Minimum 5+ years in automation testing, with strong experience in cloud platforms and infrastructure as code. Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across cloud-based infrastructure and applications. This role requires expertise in automation testing, cloud platforms (preferably GCP), and infrastructure tools like Terraform and Terratest. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies, along with a passion for building scalable and reliable test automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for cloud infrastructure and application testing. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across public cloud platforms (GCP/AWS Implement and manage test automation using tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, and Terratest. Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Validate infrastructure deployments using Terraform and ensure robust testing coverage. Conduct API and web service testing using REST, Postman, curl, and related tools. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, GKE/EKS, and networking components. Utilize logging, monitoring, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and performance. Apply programming skills in Java, Go, and Groovy to support test development and automation. Maintain documentation and collaborate using tools like Confluence and Jira. Top 3 Required Skills: 1. Automation Testing Expertise 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using Java, JUnit/TestNG, and CI/CD tools. 2. Terraform & Terratest Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code and automated testing of cloud resources, preferably on GCP. 3.
