    Essential Job Summary

    The Sales Operations Director is responsible for defining and leading the strategy, structure, and execution of the Sales Operations function. This role provides leadership and direction across sales planning, performance analytics, forecasting, process optimization, and sales technology. The Director partners with executive leadership to drive revenue growth, improve sales effectiveness, and ensure operational scalability. This position is accountable for building, developing, and leading a high-performing Sales Operations team while aligning sales operations initiatives with broader organizational objectives.

    Develop, implement, and continuously improve sales operations strategies, processes, and workflows to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.

    Lead the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of sales operations strategy, structure, and processes.

    Own enterprise sales forecasting, pipeline governance, and performance reporting frameworks.

    Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership regarding sales performance, risks, and opportunities.

    Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making.

    Oversee sales technology ecosystem, including CRM strategy, optimization, adoption, and data integrity.

    Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to support revenue objectives.

    Identify organizational inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve sales productivity.

    Lead annual sales planning processes, including territory design, capacity modeling, and quota frameworks.

    Build, mentor, and develop the Sales Operations team, fostering accountability and high performance.

    Serve as a strategic advisor to sales leadership on process, performance, and operational improvements.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    Minimum 8-10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Revenue Operations.

    Minimum 3-5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams.

    Demonstrated experience supporting senior sales leadership and executive stakeholders.

    Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen.

    Deep experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue planning.

    Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales technology platforms.

    Proven ability to drive process transformation and operational improvements.

    Excellent executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

    Ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership levels.

    Six-sigma and or ISO 9001 certification Preferred

    Essential Job Summary The Administrative Assistant will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Hauling Depot. This role will primarily support operations management, overnight dispatchers alongside them, and the drivers and collection helpers on routes over the phone. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to multi-task.

    Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.: Maintain comprehensive operational records including route sheets, work orders, and service documentation. Check-in and communicate with drivers and collection helpers around shift times daily Data entry regarding driver surveys, hours, miles, fuel, etc. on route sheets/logs Coordinate with dispatch on daily route assignments and changes. Make corrections (productivity data) within 24 hours. Enter productivity entry for previous day. All productivity must be entered within 48 hours of route completion. Receive and assist occasional customer service calls and communicate between drivers on routes Collect daily tickets and DVIR's for processing; also injury/accident reports as needed Contact sales and/or customer service departments in case of service issues and updates Organize and distribute all paperwork from drivers or other staff Utilize system functionality for all functions of operations requiring data entry and accuracy. Coordinate and schedule operational meetings and training sessions. Prepare meeting agendas and record minutes for operations meetings. Maintain updated contact information for all operations personnel. Distribute important operational updates and policy changes to team members. Assist in maintaining records required for regulatory compliance. Help prepare documentation for audits and inspections. Assist with incident report documentation and filing. Trained in house to dispatch if interested and need arises Manage internal filing systems (both digital and physical) for operational documents. Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Compile data for regulatory compliance reporting. Assist in analyzing operational data to identify trends and improvement areas. Requirements and Qualifications Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States. High school/GED education completed; higher education is a plus. Minimum 3 years experience as Administrative Assistant, or some type of Operations Support required. Fluency in English required and Spanish required. Experience from waste management or transportation industry is strongly preferred. Experience in waste industry operations software is strongly preferred, but can be trained. Must have computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word,Outlook, TEAMS Ability to learn and conform to digital processes Ability to prioritize takes effectively Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities High level of accuracy and attention to detail Adaptability to changing priorities and schedules Expertise with data entry and records management.     Job Highlights

    Site Manager manages the assigned scope of responsibility within a line of business and/or at specific site within a market. May be assigned single or multiple depots, building facilities, expense management, operations staff to maintain and ensure safe performance and productivity metrics and processes.

    Manages the day-to-day operations of the depot(s), and provides daily support to Operations manager(s), supervisors in ensuring quality and budget performance. Monitors budget and operating metrics while diagnosing and improving processes, procedures, and performance. Executes necessary precautions to ensure safety and compliance with Company, OSHA, and other standards and regulations. Ensures thorough root cause investigations for all injuries and incidents, following-up with consistent discipline and retraining and that management Oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions. Formulates both short-term and long-term goals and action plans in conjunction with the Site Manager(s) and Director of Operations. Participates in regular P&L reviews to ensure that budgets are met; develops and implements programs for optimal equipment utilization, equipment maintenance, and labor and material costs. Interacts with local city, municipal, and county agencies to ensure customer satisfaction, improve efficiency, renew contracts and negotiate new contracts; establishes IWS as a good corporate citizen and valued resource. Works with functional groups to resolve employee relations and labor relations issues. Requirements and Qualifications

    Requirements:

    Supervisory experience: 5+ years supervisory/team management experience to include direct and indirect reports.

    Education and Experience

    Education: Associate degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 2 years of relevant work experience. Experience: 3 years of work experience (in addition to education requirement) in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations in which coaching, routing assessments and leading employees

    Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

    Experience in a position involving operations, customer service, community relations, health and safety, financial, and human resources function, experience as a supervisor or manager; experience implementing safety (OSHA) programs and equipment specifications, experience preparing and managing budgets, and experience resolving labor relations issues required.
