    About the Area and Responsibilities of a Findlay Ministry Leader

    There are over 250 international students at the University of Findlay, representing more than 35 nations. Findlay's central location to other major cities, along with its longstanding reputation with excellent academic courses, attracts international students across all majors. This position is part of the Northwest Ohio ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.

    As a Findlay Ministry Leader, you will establish a presence by building relationships with university staff, church partners, and volunteers. Your responsibilities include leading the location's ministry efforts, mobilizing others to host Bible discussion groups, and organizing cultural events. You will also ensure that IFI is recognized as a student organization, maintain strong campus relationships, and secure the necessary financial and prayer support.

    Digital Ministry Specialist Responsibilities:

    Our Digital Ministry Specialist will investigate, implement, manage, and train staff on use of online methods of outreach to internationals. They will work closely with the Communications team, as well as campus ministry leadership to accomplish this. This is a remote opportunity which can be done in person or a hybrid schedule for candidates in Columbus, OH.

    Regularly research and test new online technologies for making personal connectionsFacilitate online Bible discussions with international studentsActively participate in social media groups, online forums etc. to connect with more international studentsRespond to online questions submitted by international students on IFI websitesRecruit and train a volunteer team to do multiply online outreach effortsDevelop and maintain financial and prayer partnerships for the budgeted needs of the role, ensure minimum monetary standards are achieved, and send out a ministry newsletter at least every other month to partnersShare successful technology and tips with Campus Ministers

    International Friendships, Inc. is a faith-based non profit. The mission of IFI is to extend life-changing love and friendship to international college students out of reverence for Jesus. We do this by offering services, such as airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary housing, conversation partnerships, and social events and trips.

    Work Schedule:

    Full- or part-time, flexible scheduleOccasional evenings and/or weekends for specific ministry needsAnnual Conferences such as the IFI Staff Retreat

    Pay Structure:

    IFI provides Dallas Ministry Leaders with training in personal fundraising, enabling them to build a support team to cover their salary, benefits, ministry expenses, and prayer needs. The salary ranges from $25,709 to $80,000, depending on experience and contingent on funding.

    About the Area and Responsibilities of a Dallas Ministry Leader

    Dallas is a very strategic location for international student ministry with hundreds of potential church partners and several universities. There are about 12,000 international students in Dallas alone, and over 20,000 if you include the entire Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex. This position is part of the Dallas ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.

    As a Dallas Ministry Leader, you will establish a presence by building relationships with university staff, church partners, and volunteers. Your responsibilities include leading the location's ministry efforts, mobilizing others to host Bible discussion groups, and organizing cultural events. You will also ensure that IFI is recognized as a student organization, maintain strong campus relationships, and secure the necessary financial and prayer support.
