ABOUT THE ROLE InterAtlas Logistics is looking to add a mechanic responsible for the preventative maintenance of company owned chassis. HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Maintenance of 75 chassis including 20/40 sliders, TRI-axles and tilt ISO Chassis. Work alongside other mechanics to maintain a preventative maintenance program, shop cleanliness, safety and mechanical excellence. Be available and manage roadside service calls. Understands and adheres to OSHA, DOT, and regulations as required. ABOUT THE ROLE InterAtlas Logistics is seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic with strong electrical to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, detail-oriented, and experienced in maintaining and repairing Class 8 trucks. HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE As a Diesel Mechanic with InterAtlas Logistics, you will play a critical role in keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. You will: Work alongside other mechanics to maintain a preventative maintenance program, ensuring shop cleanliness, safety, and mechanical excellence including diagnostics. Respond to and manage roadside service calls as needed (additional pay provided). Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives and identifying potential deficiencies. Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure optimal operation. Maintain accurate vehicle and service records by documenting repairs and maintenance activities. Control repair and maintenance costs by properly using warranties and monitoring inventory levels; place and verify parts orders as needed. Understand and adhere to OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations to maintain compliance and a safe working environment.     ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Class-A Driver is primarily responsible for transporting products and materials from one place to the next, while adhering to safety regulations and requirements. The candidate will have a proven track record of flawless driving skills, with no infractions, in addition to exceptional customer service skills and professionalism.

    HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

    Safe operating of commercial vehicle in compliance with company and Department of Transportation regulations to ensure the efficient pick up and delivery of loads; local and regional routes
    Complete Electronic logs, Pre-Trips, reports and other required paperwork in accordance with all laws, regulations and employer requirements.
    Effectively communicate with dispatch, customers, emergency services, and management

    REQUIREMENTS
    Valid CDL-A License with TWO (2) year minimum driving experience, within the last FIVE (5) years
    HAZ-MAT and TANKER endorsement required
    TWIC Card required
    At least 23 years old or older
    Three years Accident Free- (Regardless of fault)
    Experience in Ports of New York and New Jersey
    Must be able to legally work in the United States
    Must have basic English proficiency
    Physically able to perform routine vehicle inspections
