Position: Business Operations Manager Onsite - San Francisco, CA (Palo Alto, CA ) Full time Salary - $130k - $150k+Benefits Job id #- 171223 Job description: 3+ years in operations, business operations, or a logistics/ops role - ideally at a startup, hardware company, or other fast-paced, resource-constrained environment. Comfortable reading and reasoning about contracts; detail-oriented with terms, dates, and numbers. Hands-on experience with invoicing and basic finance/accounting workflows; familiarity with sales tax compliance is a strong plus (we can support you on the specialist pieces). Experience coordinating physical logistics, shipping, or inventory/warehouse operations. Highly organized, self-directed, and able to build process from scratch rather than inheriting it. Strong communicator who can work across sales, finance, founders, and external partners. Nice to Have Experience with hardware-as-a-service, rental, or asset-tracking business models. Familiarity with multi-state tax compliance tools (e.g., Avalara, TaxJar) or willingness to own that setup. Experience with QuickBooks/NetSuite, contract management, or inventory systems.
