Pay Range: $33.00 - $35.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits Streetsboro, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Tool and Die Machinist for 1st shift (M-F 6am- 4:30pm). REQUIREMENTS High School Graduate, GED, Vocational School and/or higher-level education 4+ years' experience and/or higher level machining education Client out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, fit, and assemble parts to make and repair dies. Solid knowledge and experience with tools and equipment used for machining parts and maintaining metal stamping dies. Including but not limited to lathes, milling machine, drill press, surface grinder, and I.D./O.D. grinders. Fabricate replacement and/or new designed parts/die details, capable of deciphering and reading technical drawings, has ability to analyze specifications Capability to make jigs, fixtures, gauges, and use machinists' hand tools. Assist with die installation, capability to set and change dies, first part verification, ability to polish and perform preventative maintenance on dies, and can fit and assemble die components into existing dies. Set up and properly run the various equipment in the machine shop including lathes, mills, saws, drill presses, grinders etc. to meet engineering specifications.
