Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSeeking Custom Electronic and AV Installation technicians with all levels of experience. All employees will be trained to work to specific standards and with specific equipment for installed systems.Job Activities:Installation of system infrastructure wiring (network, audio, video and control wiring)Installation of custom electronic equipmentSetup and testing of functionality of installed equipmentProgramming system controllers as appropriateServicing of existing systems under warranty and out of warrantyQualifications:General Qualifications - Prefer candidates have a minimum of a 2 year degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Currently this is not a mandatory requirement for an entry level position as we will train new employees with the necessary skills to perform the work required. General aptitude with power tools, hand tools, or electronics are valued and will be considered during the hiring process. A desire to learn and ability to follow direction of senior employees is expected.Advanced Candidate Qualifications - The Electronic Systems Technician shall possess a two-year electronics degree or equivalent combination of education and related field experience. Must possess an understanding of electronic systems, such as professional sound, video distribution, control systems, basic networking, and surveillance equipment. Maintain a fundamental knowledge of AV systems, CCTV, audiovisual presentation systems, network setup and maintenance, control and integration. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills. Have strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
