Assistant Construction Superintendent - Austin, TX The Assistant Field Superintendent will assist with all aspects of the construction project, including the finishing and turning over of units to management. Job duties: Reports to Lead Super/PM Ensures subcontractors are onsite when scheduled Updates superiors if subcontractors are not onsite Ensures finish materials/subs are onsite Uses finish schedule to ensure materials are placed in correct units Walks with subcontractors daily to ensure completeness Creates punch lists for subcontractors on finishing units via Procore Ensure punch lists are completed Performs final walks with mgmt. Ensures mgmt. walk lists are completed Turns over keys to mgmt. Assists maintenance staff with new move ins 100% in the field Requirements: Must be local to Austin, Texas Bachelor's Degree in civil or construction management, preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising all phases of multifamily, housing or hotel construction experience. Understands and can interpret codes and UL assemblies. Computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project Must be able to read and understand plans and specifications. Great communication skills including verbal and written. Organized and detail oriented. Works well with a team.
