We are seeking a Legal Secretary w/ Contract Administration experience to support out client 'onsite' in downtown Houston. This assignment will be heavy on contract "administrative" duties. It will not include duties associated with buying, strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, commercial contracts development, etc.
This is a 6-month contract assignment. Hours: Mon-Thurs (8.75 hrs); Friday (1/2 days). Max downtown parking reimbursement: $150/month
Primary duties include :
Redlining Tracking changes Documentation Correcting grammar and spelling errors. Qualifications : 5 or more years’ experience as a Contract Administrator or Legal Secretary creating, understanding, and editing written service agreements, construction agreements, procurement agreements or other pertinent agreements is required. Strong in MS Office, with emphasis on MS Word and Excel is required, including : Explicit proficiency in Track Changes functionality in MS Word Complicated mail merge functions of MS Word Advanced functions of MS Excel Experience proofreading, auditing, and correcting documents and ensuring accuracy of final documents is required. Any experience preparing and administering contracts in the oil and gas related industry is preferred. Position Overview

The CAD Specialist/Drafter supports the Engineering Records team by collecting, updating, and maintaining high-quality technical drawings and documentation for pipelines, facilities, and mechanical systems.
This role requires current experience with AutoCAD software, a strong understanding of piping, pipeline, instrumentation & electrical (P&ID/PFD) and mechanical drafting standards, and familiarity with alignment sheets, pipeline system schematics, and industry documentation processes.
The position collaborates with Engineering, Operations, Design Services, Project Management, Construction, Field Personnel, and Third-Party Contractors to ensure engineering records remain accurate, consistent, and compliant throughout the asset lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
AutoCAD Drafting & Design
Revise and maintain piping design drawings, mechanical design drawings, pipeline alignment sheets, instrumentation & electrical drawings, etc., using AutoCAD. Review and edit drawings, such as PFDs, P&IDs, general equipment layouts, facility plot plans, equipment/instrument lists, etc., consistent with industry and internal standards.Pipeline Documentation & Records Management
Identify, package, and maintain pipeline alignment sheets, horizontal directional drill (HDD) information, and related documentation for operational and regulatory use. Process drawing updates, transfers, and revision control in accordance with established procedures. Extract and organize drawing metadata such as equipment lists, valve lists, instrument lists, and data sheets. Maintain accurate records of document changes, transmittals, correspondence, and drawing history.Project Support & Collaboration
Support multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating drafting and design inputs across internal stakeholders and third-party engineering partners. Participate in project meetings as needed to understand scope, gather data, and provide drafting-related input, and provide guidance on compliance with Enterprise Standards Communicate with vendors or third-party drafters to resolve CAD issues such as missing or conflicting external references (Xrefs). Assist with file bundling, transmittals, distribution packages, and preparation for project kickoff or handoverQualifications (required):
3+ years of drafting and design experience using AutoCAD software. Demonstrated experience interpreting and maintaining piping drawings, mechanical drawings, pipeline schematics, and alignment sheets. Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents including P&IDs, PFDs, plot plans, and pipeline route data Ability to manage multiple drafting tasks across concurrent projects. Strong understanding of industry drafting practices for industrial, plant, or pipeline environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working within engineering document management systems.Preferred:
Technical diploma or two year degree in drafting, design technology, or related field Prior experience in midstream oil & gas, pipeline operations, or facility design Familiarity with CAD standards, data extraction, and drawing quality assurance processes Interest in utilizing software enhancements and/or AI to streamline simple work tasks Experience with conduit, cable schedules, tagging, and I&E coordination is a plusCore Competencies:
