    Maintenance Technician

We manufacture and market prestressed concrete (PC) strand and welded wire reinforcement, including engineered structural mesh, concrete pipe reinforcement, and standard welded wire reinforcement for concrete reinforcement applications. The company operates eleven manufacturing facilities in nine states.

           About You

    The person we are looking for has a strong foundation in maintenance in an industrial setting. A person with great judgment, initiative, and the ability to deal with complex machinery. The ideal candidate has experience working with and on machinery. 

    Position Snapshot

    A maintenance technician is commonly expected to know how his/her equipment operates and be able to identify and repair mechanical problems and conduct preventative maintenance. Workers hired into this position will be trained to learn multiple areas of the maintenance functions. To be successful in this role you will:

    Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery and production equipmentAssist machine operators with preventative maintenance of machinesRepair hydraulic and pneumatic equipmentOperate welding equipment Conduct equipment inspections for proper operation and mechanical integrity Use computer systems to track and document daily maintenance activityAssist team members as neededPractice safe work habits to reduce risk to as low as reasonably achievable. Including adhering to strict PPE guidelines and learning safety standards for the facility and equipment. Work effectively within a team environment

    Requirements and Education:

    High School Diploma or equivalentMust have 3 years of previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technicianAbility to complete simple forms and understand simple written instructionsUnderstands basic mathematical principles and has the ability to perform simple arithmetic skills involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals

    Our Maintenance electricians install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems, apparatus, and electrical and mechanical components of industrial machinery and equipment.  Provide technical support for the Maintenance Manager, the plant, and all maintenance personnel.  Works daily to ensure assigned areas of responsibility are working with risk lowered to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA), specifically in an effort to achieve ZERO HARM so no injuries, illness or negative impact occurs to employees, property, the environment, or the community.


    Salary Non-Exempt position on 11pm - 7am ( must be able to train on First or Second shift ) 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
    Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

    Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems utilizing tools such as an ohm meter, volt meter, oscilloscope, and computer software.Ability to read a set of electrical prints and install wiring machinery to the manufacturer's specificationsSolder electrical and electronic componentsDemonstrate a working knowledge of safe and proper use of the more advanced electrical diagnostic equipment (i.e. AC AC-powered oscilloscopes, recording voltmeters/ammeters)Ability to troubleshoot and repair control systems that utilize programmable controllers and similar devicesResponsible for training othersLeads overhaul and PMsOn call for after-hours service calls if necessaryQUALIFICATIONS
