This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Sales and Operations Planning and will have ample opportunity to grow with broader responsibilities. Production Planner We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to lead production planning efforts for our growing food manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in production scheduling and inventory management within the consumer goods or food industry. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, efficient production schedules, and seamless supply chain operations while meeting customer demand and minimizing waste. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning can be substituted with 3-5 of Inventory Control and / or Purchasing experience. Bachelors degree in related field; Masters preferred. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, inventory management techniques, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficient in production planning and inventory management principles. Excellent financial acumen and ability to ad hoc analyze/manipulate large data sets. Strong proficiency in ERP systems (Sage, Business Central, etc.). and advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent interpersonal and time management/organizational skills, and detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy. Understanding of food production constraints, shelf-life considerations, and supply chain complexities. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of regulatory requirements in food manufacturing. APICS, CPIM, or related supply chain certification is a plus.
