    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma/GED required3+ years of design/build electrical construction experience.Proficient in estimating means and methods. Proficient in Accubid or similar estimating software is highly preferredAbility to produce and update a project schedule to identify when each task will be performedAbility to understand and organize an electrical estimateAbility to provide project cost projectionsUnderstand OSHA requirements on electrical projectsKnowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Low Voltage SystemsStrong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

    Day-to-day tasks include, but not limited to the following:

    Prepare and maintain Monthly/Bi-weekly Cost Reports (Profit Projections and Work in Process (WIP)Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendersCoordinate with General Superintendent on project manpower requirementsPrepare and maintain Schedule of Values and Pay Applications throughout the Project durationBuild and implement project schedulesCreate and maintain Change Orders and LogsOversee and plan each Electrical Project with GC from pre-construction through turnover on all projectsDemonstrate the ability to manage multiple commercial projects at the same time and work in conjunction with the field superintendent and their daily operations to ensure that they are complete, on time, and under budgetOversee and manage daily project coordinationApprove invoices for Vendor PaymentRespond to issues for ongoing project(s) RFIs (request for information) in a timely mannerReview addendums and changes for building purposesKeep and maintain communications between company and GCs, subcontractors and owner/developers throughout the building process


    Working/ Environment/ Physical Demandstosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
