We are looking for experienced leaders with carpentry background to join our team. We're looking for candidates with a strong background in light commercial construction – specifically in the area of finish (cabinetry) carpentering, who can assist with small to large projects, including build and finish work
Cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures per specifications. Job entails working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. Work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work in the carpentry department on theatrical grade projects with intermediate to high degree of complexity The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of finish carpentry experience.Manage and direct the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment in accordance with project specific plans and layoutsUphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety measures are followedEnsures that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shiftManage and direct the loading and unloading of equipment and materials form truck and vehiclesWork with customers ensure full client satisfaction in relation to the quality of service and finished product within planned time schedulesRequirements
Education Qualifications
High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is preferred.
Required licenses:
Valid Class C Driver’s License as requiredMust be over 21 years of age to operate company vehiclesForklift license preferred not requiredPhysical Demands
