Utilizes independent judgment in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and provision of ongoing care to ambulatory patients that is in accordance with nurse practitioner licensure regulations for the Commonwealth of Virginia and delineated in the written Scope of Practice/Protocol for Advanced Practice Professionals (Licensed Independent Practitioners). Management of various Care Plans Performs new consultations, patient follow ups, daily rounding and procedure triaging. Writes/ dictates history and physical notes, consult, and daily notes.
