Job Summary
Innovative PR is looking for a charismatic Public Relations Account Executive for our Beauty & Lifestyle Team with a proven track record of planning and executing PR strategies to secure press, experience communicating with talent agents for social and celebrity deals, and a knack for event coordination. The ideal candidates will have excellent written communication skills, a strong understanding of the media landscape, and a passion for helping clients amplify their brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
The Public Relations Account Executive Responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):
Serve as a primary client contact with the proven ability to manage and drive multiple client account programs and teams delivering strategic valueDirectly manage day to day activities on client accounts and lead regular conference callsPlan, develop and advise clients on integrated and measurable PR initiativesAdvise clients on positioning and messagingDaily press interaction; nurture and develop strong relationships with key editors across all channels via regular communication and media meetingsDraft media and client materials such as press releases, bios, talking points, and media alertsDelegate duties and review the work of supporting team members (i.e. press materials, pitches, reports, etc.)Brainstorm creative partnership and activation ideas for clients as well as new business opportunitiesDevelop full launch strategies surrounding client partnerships and activationManage planning and execution of client events (i.e. staffing, production, invite outreach, budget, etc.)Multitask across multiple client accounts and projects under deadline, manage client timelines and budgetsEnsure that key milestones and projects are on track, within prescribed timelines and on budget, etc.)Work with Influencer Team to provide recommendations and outreach for brand partnerships need beStay on top of entertainment and celebrity tastemakers for partnership advisory of brand campaignsTrack industry trends and identify relevant opportunities for clientsDisplay exceptional verbal and written communication skillsAssist in the development of proposals for new business presentationsQualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related fieldA minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience working with beauty and lifestyle brands in house or at a public relations agencyAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace products (Sheets, Slides, Spreadsheets)Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with editorial outreach and editor relationshipsA minimum of 2 years of previous experience working with Influencers and/or Influencer marketing campaignsProven track record of securing media coverage and managing successful client campaignsExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to craft compelling stories and communicate effectively with clients, media, and team membersExcellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detailAbility to develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies that align with client objectives and market opportunitiesProficiency in PR tools (i.e. Muck Rack, Cision)
